    I actually think he was starting to come on a little the last few games. I think he is poised for a decent year next season as a possession type receiver. Plus I have a feeling alot of our guys are excited about the new spread offense we are bringing in.
    RT "@QuintonDunbar1: Spread offense " Looks like Will Muschamp hasn't just told recruits about his new offensive philosophy.#

    My entire point was predicated on what the internal messaging is. So, if it ends up what you're saying, i.e. Grier isn't an option next season, then I don't think Murphy would go anywhere. And, I agree that the "normal" progression would be for an incoming QB to redshirt behind two upperclass options. However, with a recruit as highly prized as Grier and with UF in pretty dire straights right now to keep the recruiting class together, it's not unheard of for a staff to promise an incoming kid that he'll get a shot at the starting job and/or be the primary backup.

    So, again, *IF* the internal messaging becomes that Grier and Driskel are fighting for 1/2, then I think Murphy would look for other options.

    I understand, but grier has already publicly stated that he will and prefers to red shirt. And the staff has told him thats their plan. He knows he needs to develop physically. He has a very lanky frame. Now if for some crazy 2013 type of thing happens where all of our two QB's go down I may personally prefer a under weight grier to a Skyler or staver. :) I do believe he is our guy at qb.... Unfortunately just not next year.

    Murphy isn't going anywhere.

    With Driskel's injury history, it is very likely that Murphy will see a lot of action even if he loses the competition for starter in the spring. If the rumors of the spread are true, Murphy will be even more useful too in that role.

    That is a good point. Murphy is definitely going to say. Driskel has had to miss games due to injury all 3 years he has been here. History says that Murphy should be ready to go at any time next season.

    Thought I read an article someplace that stated Muschamp told Grier NOT to plan on redshirting? So if Grier's plan IS to redshirt,sounds like we have a "failure to communicate!"

    Murphy is reportedly graduating with a B.A. in communications next week. Does he plan on hanging around as a player coach (and potential starter) or does he plan on being a GA? Other?

    If he's graduating and wanted to leave he could do the whole russel wilson transfer thing and not sit out. Based on what he's said in the past I fully expect him to be here next year

    I read over on gsmb that kent taylor had somewhat of an ominous tweet... something along the lines of not looking back only moving forward or second guessing decisions. but it could just be referring to moving on from whatever kept him playing

    Given the number of injuries this past year, Grier shouldn't "plan" on redshirting but very well may end up doing so, no?

    P.p. champ told him to be ready just in case, but grier said himself that champs plan is to redshirt and that he also that was best

    @_DRob11:mad:Jamesbaker6062G always GREAT to be a #Gator! #GatorBoy till I die

    That tweet was in response to this clemson guy heckling him:

    @_DRob11 how the gator life working for ya. WR U looking pretty good here at Clemson good luck to ya blocking or even playing smh

    @_DRob11 lol if you say so a lot of talent you have to be wasted blocking or getting suspended. Good luck tho we will keep winning at CU

    Doesn't sound like he plans to transfer. Good for him. Maybe he knows he messed up and has to work on things. This board loves to make a enemy out of situations that none of us know about.

    Are you sure? Look at @dalvincook that is fake and you can tell cause none of his friends hit him up on it.
    If so someone may want to tell q. Wilson this is there convo. From today.

    @dc_wilson954: I want #5 next year but i'll take any number 1-12

    @_DRob11: @dc_wilson954 boy expand your range cause I think that's all filled

    @dc_wilson954:mad:_DRob11 lol what's good brah

    @_DRob11: @dc_wilson954 nun exam week got me stressin a lil

    I suppose it could be but it looks pretty real to me. He has tweets between him and his teammates like vh3. I figured those 2 freshman teammates would at least know if their twitter page is real or not.

    I guess as grown mwn and women we could quit following teenagers' twitter accounts. When it comes to guys who handled it well when they were not playing---and it became obvious they should have been playing---my 2 favorite candidates are Taylor and I must add(even though it is the wrong board) Casey Prather. Both of these guys were saints in retrospect.

    Is there even a guarantee that Driskel starts next year? Until he was injured, Murphy was at least as productive as Driskel in this offense. Now that we're changing offenses, I'm sure Murphy isn't transferring if Muschamp is true to his word in letting the best players play.

    My guess on Transfers:

    Colin Thompson

    Westbrook

    1 WR Andrades or Pittman

    Skyler M. (remember he was offered by pease)
