as with anyone here the list is fluid but some standards i find myself always returning to:
    Spong-Rotting Pinata
Social Distortion- Live at the Roxy
Ben Harper and the Inocent Criminals - Live from Mars
    Smashing Pumpkins - Siamese Dream
    Radiohead - The Bends
    RHCP- Blood Sugar Sex Majik
    Janes Addiction- All of them
    Nirvana- Nevermind
Face to Face - Live form Orange County
    Pixies -Doolittle
    Ice Cube- Predator
    Soundgarden- any of them
    Rage Against the Machine -RATM
Pennywise- any of their first several albums
    Sublime
    Bob Marley

Recently rediscovered Monster Magnet. Thought of them as a joke at first but they are good now that I gave them a chance

I consider the greats of all time as the foundation for everything. I didn't list them but they never fully leave the rotation. Not sure I know anyone who likes my list but doesn't at some level like Hendrix, Zeppelin, James Brown, Elton John, Fleetwood Mac, Sabbath etc etc

i could never ever decide on a favorite song of all time. because i have so many moods, i have so many songs to accompany those moods.
i guess one that about gives me goosebumps every time is u2's 'one tree hill', an exuberant, and also kinda haunting, requiem for a friend who died in a motorcycle wreck.

Not everybody hates hip hop. I hate a lot of it, but I love Outcast, Nas and Kendrick Lamar. (Will be seeing him this summer) Anybody who likes Radiohead, Sufjan Stevens and Damien Rice earns a lot of cred in my book. I wouldn't care if you liked Brad Paisley.

Can't believe I left out the Smiths. Scratch Sufjan Stevens and add The Queen is Dead.
