From Augusta. I know we need a big more than another shooter but any chance we get involved?

Looks like a young Chris Webber.
    Let's sign him up now.

No chance whatsoever IMO. Stacked at SG already with Frazier, D. Walker, Graham, Carter, Francis...need that last scholly for another big. It sounds like it will be Horford.

Are we likely to get him?

Multiple sources are saying yes. Bullis basically said it looks promising as of yesterday, and another poster who said he had first-time insider knowledge agreed. And Jeff Goodman with ESPN tweeted about it today that he was hearing that also. Nothing guaranteed, but all signs point to Horford being the most likely candidate for that last scholly

We really don't need another guard next year. Also want to give us the best chance to get Blakeny next year.

I like our guard rotation as it is, considering Carter will be healthy. Would rather see us take another post player.

Yes, the Gators need another shooting guard about as much as they need 5 academic ineligibilities.

However, Horford is, like Harris, a one year player. By the time he learns his role on the team he will be gone. I don't see much of a gain there, although, of course, having another body to throw at Kentucky's 45 bigs would, of course, be very useful.

Has to do with a couple of things. One, it keeps DFS at the four and Murphy and Robinson at the three. Two, it gives us insurance behind Walker in case Harris doesn't stick with it.

With all the depth and talent on next season's roster, we have a chance to be very, very good, and I suspect Donovan wants to make sure we are ready for a run.

Hill may very well follow Buzz to Va Tech...their other top 100 Malek Harris, a 6'7" 4/3 may follow Buzz as well

Horford is a 22 year old man with final four experience playing the post in a competitive league...you take him even if it is for a year.

Or we could give Jacob Kurtz a scolly for one year so that he doesn't have to pay for a year of grad school at UF in Mechanical Engineering. He deserves it for what he did on the floor this year. And he could go anywhere next year and play right away and lots of schools have good graduate engineering programs: Michigan, Purdue, Illinois, Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, NC State, Penn State, Minnesota, UCLA, Cal, Texas, Texas A&M, Pitt, etc.

Getting Horford sounds good to me, I guess Mourning is going to Georgetown?

Isn't next year's class stacked and we look good for a lot of them? Makes sense to give a 1 year scholly then, so we get a body we need while not committing ourselves to someone who won't be as good as next year's crop.

I like his production. Billy and staff can help him prepare for the next level.

Would prefer Mourning but if we don't have a shot there then Horford is a nice alternative.
