Why was he never called for baiting the Dline? It was completely obvious that he was yelling something and flinching on short yardage plays.

    This IS illegal, right?

If I recall correctly, Pouncey turned his head signifying the ball was about to be snapped when we were in loud environments. Toledos center was flinching, moving his left arm and yelling something trying to draw us offsides.

Pouncey was doing the same thing vs Lswho......
As a coach you have to let the ref know..... the way Chavis did that year

This is an excuse. The DL needs to be more disciplined. Taylor's off-side's was bad. Easly...again, jumping off-sides. It's inexcusable. They should bench Easly for the first play or two in the next game...and every subsequent game if it continues, so he's not "the starter". Something needs to be done about it, besides blaming the Center for the other team.

Blaming the Center for Toledo. That's what I'm talking about. It's an excuse (for the offsides penalties). So what if the Center flinched? We've been watching this Defense for 2+ seasons now under Muschamp and there is a common theme = they jump offsides all the time! If you haven't seen that, then you aren't watching UF football. Blaming the Toledo Center is an excuse.....

Great reply dude. This thread was started by suggesting that the reason our players jumped offsides is because the Center was getting away with something. When the fact is, our D ALWAYS jumps off-sides. Especially Easly.

You made an excuse for our lack of discipline.... Not sure why you don't understand that. Excuses, excuses, excuses....

Easley jumped 1 time if I recall correctly. It didn't hurt us but it damn sure helped when he timed the 4th & 1 snap. Saying he should sit a few plays is hilarious. Taylor jumping was the really bad one.

It was pretty blatant. The announcers even said it. No excuses. He threw his arm out, as the QB signaled.

No, he stated that the center might have gotten away with breaking a rule.

Their center should have been called... and we should have pushed it with the ref.

What? If a guy cheats to simulate the snap....it is no longer an excuse. Its a reason.
