On page 9 of today's sports section is the headline: "Saban responds to Texas talk, says he's staying put."

Umm, didn't he say the same thing when he was the head coach for the Dolphins??

And the same thing when he was HC for the LSU Tigers and HC for the Michigan State Spartans.

It won't be announced until after the bowl games are set. Let's see, Tuscaloosa or Austin? hummm.

This is how the game is played: Saban and/or his agent leak the formal or informal contacts from TX because it is ood for recruiting for all the recruits to know Saban is at the top of the totum pole. Saban then gets asked about it by reporters and he gets a 2 minute free commercial on how much he loves Alabama on national TV.

I'll wager any amount that he's not leaving Bama.

Don't expect he would leave but also it wouldn't surprise me. It's to the point where no NC will be a disappointing season at Bama.

Have any coaches ever won an NC at 3 different schools?

A coach denied that he's leaving his current position? I'm shocked!

Regardless of where he coaches next year, I'd bet that Saban will get paid close to $10 million per year.

All this Saban talk is just print-filler. Absolutely no chance he leaves but I wouldn't be at all surprised if he utilises it to up his contract. 3 titles in 4 years he can pretty much write his own cheque and remain King of His Castle.

Next up? Will Muschamp. Hopefully, they'll ask him the same question and he'll give the same response.

    LImey...
I see where you have, "King of His Castle" written in the true, olde-style "Sabanian/Little Napolian" format.
Of course, he would be, "King of His Castle."
    (the "H" is even capitalized....)

"I will not be the next head coach at Alabama!" Nick Saban's last press conference as head coach of the Miami Dolphins

I believe there is zero percent chance Saban leaves. The fact that he said he's not leaving has ZERO influence on forming this belief.

So, if he says he's going, he's going, and if he says he's staying that means he's going. How should Saban answer the question, or better yet, how would you answer? For all you soothsayers that know what's going to happen in advance, how's life now that you have won Powerball?
