I think it is time to put Burton at QB if Murphy isn't playing. If we can get beat by the option, we can run it against FSU. Anything can be better than what we are doing now. Burton has proved that he can throw the ball, plus he is a definite threat to run.

Time to bring out the three-headed dragon: Murphy, Mornhinweg, and Burton in the same backfield!

Given Pease's proclivity toward running the Wildcat, frankly, I'm surprised it *hasn't* been used. Burton, if nothing else, is a pretty good runner and he'd give our offense an added dimension it has lacked. Skyler isn't a threat to run and he isn't a threat to run. All he's used for is to hand it off.

I'm not hating on him for not producing, far from it. But given our paucity of offensive options, something that causes a mismatch should be something we look into. Burton's handed off in the formation, so it's not like teams can collapse on him running the ball anymore either. Mix in an odd pass or two and defenses are reacting to what we do, rather than dictating what we do.

Just snap the ball right to the backs, that's why the play will be 90 percent of the time.

Not Burton at QB. Skyler can throw the ball if they let him.

Hey, maybe the Princeton offense can work here? Hahaha, well at least it will be more entertaining than what Pease runs.

Beside passing, if we want a running qb, I would take Murphy over Burton. imo

Burton never hands off so it couldn't be an option attack.

You guys are delusional if you want Burton at QB fulltime. Haven't you watched any of the games? He sticks at wildcat, and just because he ran a 80 yarder last year at Tennessee, doesn't validate the constant exposure of the wildcat in the endzone of all places. Pease must have this on his checklist.....

    REDZONE PLAYS
    ✔️STAY CALM & BREATHE SLOW
    ✔️Wildcat #8 KEEP
    ✔️I-Form DIVE
    ✔️Shotgun PA DRAW
    ✔️SIP CUP!!!!!
The only down that is up in the air is 4th hahahaha.

Maybe I might be wrong in the formations, but it's just run run run basically. Burton's only pass is to a DT, and I think that wasn't the coaches decision, which I don't blame him for because listening to the coach must make him feel dumber. If I was Burton I'd be like "coach this play hasn't worked all year..."

I'd like to see more of Burton in the Wildcat if they can hypnotize him into passing at least 50% of the time. The reason he was so effective when he played QB a few years ago was that he threw on occasion and the other team could not always play 8-9 in the box. Give him a little running room with an occasional pass and some timely pitches to Taylor and we might actually score in the redzone!

It is quite obvious in the way Ga Southern played us that NO ONE respects our passing game. They play the receivers close and don't expect any throws over the top. If Murphy can't play then either let Burton go out in a blaze of glory and pass it several times or just accept that we are going to lose because we can't take chances with a freshman QB.

Somehow, I don't see this coaching group letting go and playing "why not?" ball.

I want the A11 offense against FSU. No way we could implement it or do it, but it would be hilarious.
