I'm hearing SEC Network will be landing spot with Rece Davis, Paul Finebaum (as Lee Corso) and Tebow as Herbie

If a network can see fit to have Desmond Howard in front of a camera with a mike, and another can have Michael Irvin...then I'm pretty sure Tim can handle it.

Imagine the fireworks you might get if Urban Meyer ever makes an appearance during on an idle date with that lineup. It would be a giant dust cloud with Tim somewhere inside it trying to make peace while Rece Davis orbited around it.

He can have a more "direct" influence on other peoples lives through other endeavors, ala Danny Wuerffel.

Poor James Bates. Been plugging away honing his craft in the small market and Tebow swoops in and gets a choice of network gigs

Unless his communications skills have improved a lot, I don't see it being a long career. Love me some Tim Tebow.. but his post game interviews were always a bit painful.

Speaking of Bates, I think he would be a great option to take the "Corso" spot instead of Finebaum. A lineup of Davis, Bates, and Pollack would be pretty good if their goal is to replicate the current Gameday.

Actually, I thought Spurrier would be the perfect fit for Corso. Very well known throughout the nation for his dry wit and pointed barbs.

I think Bates is funnier though Spurrier would be quite interesting. Besides, one is a broadcaster and the other an active coach.

His post games interviews made me cringe while he was a player at UF but he was much improved during the BCS game when we player Louisville

Spurrier won't be active forever. I love Batesy, but Corso is a former head coach, and Spurrier carries that credibility with him, whereas Bates does not. He's well known in Gatorland, but he's not a national brand.

I'd pay to see SOS put on one of thsoe headpieces...

I can't think of too many people I would rather listen to less than Tebow. Don't get me wrong, I love him, but he rambles on and on without saying anything. And uses a ton of cliched lines. Maybe he'll prove me wrong when it becomes his job.

"They said I couldn't be a football analyst..."

Kevin Carter needs to be in the booth as a color guy asap.

Tebow is exciting to watch as a player, and if he puts on a uniform again I'll definitely be watching--but him being an analyst wouldn't cause me to watch a game.
