Count on it
As long as you're comfortable losing to Vanderbilt at home
I'm counting! I'm in the negatives. It is the wrong way I'm counting, because our football program is heading that way. Just following suit.
Sad thing is I don't even care.
Muschamp will be UF's equivalent of Chizik. He will have to lose 9 games next year before UF lets him go.
It's only a game. There are many UF faculty members, and members of the administration who feel football should be deemphasized anyway. My family and I had a very enjoyable homecoming weekend, and it was refreshing to play a team of such class and good sportsmanship as the Commodores. Football, like life, is cyclical, and it's time we step aside and let institutions such as Vanderbilt finally have their day in the spotlight. That is totally fine with me. Being good sports, gracious losers, and perhaps even elder statesman who can lend a kind, encouraging word to up and comers like Vandy should be what we aspire to now. That's really what our program should be all about. Good times, Good people and camaraderie. If that's what happens for the next 20-30 years, I'm happy, regardless of whether we win one game or 10. Hip hip, and here's to good sportsmanship!
Not doubting you, but you know this how??
Huge mistake by Foley then. Ron Zook was a blessing to Jeremy Foley. It proved to him once and for all that you need more than a high energy recruiter to lead Gator football.
But he went out and made the same mistake again and did not learn his lesson.
I sure hope the big money Bull Gators teach him a good one now.
So let me see, we've lost 4 in a row for the second time in 3 years, the most since the probation years in the 80s Zook never lost more than 2 in a row. USCe is next and will probably make it 5 in a row. That hasn't happened since 1979. Georgia Southern is no guarantee and FSU most likely will blow us out at home. This will be our first losing season since 1979. We will miss a bowl game for the first time in 23 years. We lost to Vandy for the first time since the probation years and the first time at home since WWII. This is the 3rd consecutive year with offense outside of the top 100. We lead the league in penalties and players can't be bothered to stay for the Alma mater. Coach throws the players under the bus instead of taking responsibility. Good luck on that prediction!
You believe all kids should get trophies too huh
Totally respect this, however, there are too many fanatics around that would not classify today as "good times".
You lost me at 'deemphasized'...

Throughout the season, did you happen to notice the class and sportsmanship showed by our players?
Glad that others feel differently. If you are okay with that, more power to ya. In fact it sounds like you are still buzzed and trying to make yourself feel better.
If we are gonna be happy with blowouts to Vandy at home and no titles then why spend 2.7 million on WM and millions more on his staff. We might as well get coaches for 30,000 a year.
Yes, let's sign the captain of the ship that lost at home to Vandy for the first time since WW2 to a lifetime contract.
Do any of them net $47 million a year for the school?
So that's one vote for Muschmap while all the rest are against...did I get the count right?
Make sure they're only part-time employees so we don't have to give benefits.
