Spin off team of the Xmen.
sighs,I guess I can't escape it. what about this x-force movie?
I see, would be kinda cool. It would be a huge undertaking on sony's part though.
Well I thought it was just rumors but it looks like someone has been hired to write it. So, maybe not so much rumor and a real possibility. Of course scripts are written all the time that never become films so who knows. Either way, still too early to tell you much.
But when will she be resurrected? And will she be Phoenix or Dark Phoenix?
what's the difference between Phoenix and Dark Phoenix? I thought the phoenix was bad in Last stand?
In the comics currently Marvel did finally bring her back sort of. With All New X-Men Beast goes back in time to recruit the original team to save Scott from what he did in the Avengers vs. X-Men series. And because Beast is dying or something like that. Anyway, Jean is back and she is still 16 or whatever age they were when the original comics came out. I only read a few, wasn't really worth keeping up at $3.99 a book.
The first comic book I bought was 12 cents. They went up to 15 cents shortly thereafter.
yeah, comics have got quite expensive.
you can still get some for 99 cents.
This is cool
I always defer to your critique. JACKMAN is jacked. The critique of the movie can be anything. It makes no difference. When you can cast a guy who is 6'3" as THE WOLVERINE...who was SHORT...hence the name, let's just make up crap from here on in. Makes no difference. Plot...who cares?:sick:
The height thing never bothered me. Though it was funny to see wolverine towering over Cyclops.
Thanks Gray, it was funny in parts too. I love Logan's sarcastic sense of humor. The Height thing doesn't bother me, but like I said I am new to Xmen.
Minions rock. You should see the movie.
maybe one day. I just thought the picture was cute and funny and wanted to share.
I never understood the complaints about Hugh Jackman being too tall. Who cares? He IS Wolverine (as much as RDJ IS Ironman). They couldn't have picked a better actor. Jackman has the look down, he has the voice down, he has the facial expressions, the walk, the raw emotion of Wolverine. It would have been like the casting team saying we've got the perfect WOlverine but he's too tall so scrap it. His height isn't important to the story.
I'll go a step further and say that the X-Men series as a whole is one of the best cast super hero series of all time.
Patrick Stewart IS Professor X.
Michael Fassbender and Ian McClellan could not be better Magnetos.
Already talked about Jackman.
James Marsden is underused but is a great Scott Summers.
Famke Janssen the perfect Jean Grey.
It goes on and on. There were a few misses (Halle Berry the most glaring) but by and large they did great.
You don't like Halle as Storm? I like her as Storm.
