Question. What is Malzahn doing at the 45 second mark in this vid?
I was at the cock block! Just utter insanity loud... What a game, it lead to a magical season. We'll be back to the promise land soon enough. (I hope)
Celebrating after he knew Davis was going to score since he had nothing but blockers surrounding him.
[quote="tilly, post: 7070250, member: 7647"]I love to see the in stadium footage after big things like this...but this may have been one of the best. I rival it second to the cock-block clips that are out there.
Listen to the place blow up when he breaks into the clear.
Same here. I love last second wins and crowd reactions. My 1st thoughts after watching this was, the cock block...
Given all of the stuff that is wrong in college football, when it is right
IT IS THE BEST!
Other than the 'Bama fans who expected a 3-peat because it was their destiny, everyone HAS to like that game.
Question for the Gator Historians. I cannot recall in recent memory (last 30-40 years) fans rushing the field at Florida Field. Can anyone recall if there was a time this occurred? I could think of a few memorable games it would have been possible including the SoCal game or the 97 FSU or even the 86 Auburn game but I don't remember any. Correct me if I am wrong.
I think the last time Gators rushed the field was against SOW in 1984....AT TALLY!

Jus epic...I was watching it all in a restaurant in LA waiting for the USC-UCLA game to start and the place went nuts when Auburn won.....
Thanks for all the videos Tilly et.al. Not to be a Debbie Downer, but as I was watching that return, I couldn't help but think that if it were the Gators, one of our blockers would have tripped up our returner. We tackled our own guys twice this year, then proceeded to engage in blocking practice during the game. Oh well, peaks and valleys I guess!
Haha, every time I've seen the replay I thought, what if one of their players tripped him on about the 5. His accompaniment was dangerously close to him. I'm not surprised you had that thought.
We would probably have drawn a flag somewhere during that play....LOL
Thanks for posting the videos, reverse rammer jammer is epic, suck it up Bama.
I guess for the next 30 years Bama fans will have in the iron bowl preview:
"Davis is going to run it all the way back! Auburn is going to win the football game! Auburn is going to win the football game!"
It will be Bama's version of the "Run Lindsay!" Buck Belue play.
And if all else fails, "During the return...block in the back by the return team."
Yea, I was there for that one. Nothing that I’ve seen, has beaten that night. That blocked kick was amazing by Dunlap and he had done it so many times before.
The blocked kick was great but the '97 FSU game clip of the Johnson to Quezzzie pass and Fred Taylor's touchdown is my favorite. Crowd roar on the pass, the touchdown and the INT on FSucks' last drive was phenomenal.
No there would have been a holding call or a block in the back.
You should see the clip on Youtube taken from the inside of the Jordan-Hare sound booth.
Utter, absolute pandemonium. It looked like the place was about to come apart. It was shaking like an earthquake.
We were louder in '97 ref$u and '06 SC but it all stayed in the stands.
I think that was the hand of the person with the camera shaking.
Atlanta you are right, I was in the student section too for that '86 Auburn game and it was madness. People were hugging and crying and going nuts. Have missed very few games since and still think that one is the best, even better than '97 f$u.
I don't remember any fans rushing the field, perhaps they did. I was sitting in the old end zone wooden bleachers and gators fans were ripping them apart!!! It was great!
all I can say is that I am so J. love the emotion, long time Gator fan but I wish I had Aubrin season tickets this year. Two of the greatest finishes ever and they won both.
