A LOT of butthurt in here. CFB is a business. He made it to a BCS bowl. UF couldn't get to the Music City Bowl. To ease your bare red chaffed butts May I suggest this?

A business that left your team broken while he coasted into another gig under the guise of "spending time with family."

    That... is correct.
We let him come back... not once... but twice.
Treated him as fairly and with as much understanding as any university in the entire realm would do so.
And then... he leaves us in a lurch.
People seem to forget that small, tiny detail.

If anyone messed up UF it was JF for not making the necessary changes when Urban first retired. UM took a year off. He is allowed to change his mind. People who are vastly successful can't sit still for long. I don't blame him.

    He didn't really leave 2x.
The LOA was in lieu of the resignation, but we did allow it.

I just don't have a problem with the above POVs. His 09(?) class was awesome, 2010 class miserable. IMO he shafted the people that live for and love the Gators. He was paid millions of dollars in the process(nice bonus Jeremy). He quit UF, plain and simple. He was washed up without Tebow, his final class was as poor as his effort as a HC, and his players felt cheated.

This photo is sad to me. I have no enduring esteem or hatred for Urban Meyer. He's a hell of a football coach.
His team played well, fought the whole time and even though they were well-beaten, they gave a good account of themselves. It really goes to show how alone a head football coach can feel in defeat.

I don't mean to get in the way of the fun - just making an observation.

    Carry on.

That victory meal says it all...crappy scene in that locker room. I still love the guy but I'm glad Ohio State lost. Not to punish him, just because they don't play anyone and are overrated. When we played them for the National Championship game their fans were a freaking joke. I was so happy to see them file out in the early fourth quarter in Az. Currently, their QB and RB are studs- no doubt, great offensive line (although, they wore out in the end) they just got beat by someone in their funky conference that was pretty darn good.

He handled his departure like a chump and not a man, not to mention his post UF accusations of Muschamp supposed recruiting violations. Don't hate the guy because college football does not mean that much to me as it does some, but the guy is a weasel.

What was Foley supposed to do, tell the guy that had won two national titles he wasn't allowed back? Should he have taken that same approach with Billy Donovan when he took the Magic job?
