Sunset- Nagoya, Japan 2/2014
I was at that beach in May.
Fantasy Island Falls from the air. Ze Plane Boss, Ze Plane....you could hike down to the bottom and swim if you jumped a fence and took a steep trail through the woods at the lower left of the falls. We were not wearing the proper shoes for the wet trail.
Hana, Maui waterfall...just another one of many alongside the roadway. We hiked through a bamboo forest up to a nice large falls on a wet, rainy day.
N Shore, Kauai. Another of our favorite beaches we found during our air tour
Maui, top of Haleakal looking down into the crater
Seven Pools of Oheo, Hana, Maui. Hana is one of my top 3 places. Pools were closed to swimming, due to "high" flows. We swam in them 10 years ago and flow was much higher then.
the Oheo Gulch Falls at the top of the Seven Pools. Nice hike to here except for the rain and fact that there was no swimming allowed. Park Rangers were everywhere. Apparently no budget shortage there.
on the Road to Hana. One of my favorite drives
Black sand beach lower right, caves, lava tubes, soft black sand.
the backside road to Hana through arid regions in the rain shadow of the mountain. look at the bridge center left for scaleof the dry gulch. backside road was much improved from 10 years back.
lanai in Hana where me and a good bottle of wine enjoyed a few hours of rain showers and waves crashing thinking about turning 50 and realizing that my hard work coming from an impoverished single parent household had paid off and I was blessed with health and a great family
Na Pali coast from the boat, the south end of the coast is dry and it gets wetter as you go north
thanks for posting, you got some great shots, enjoyed the commentary as well............
Haleakala Sunrise circa 2004. this is the picture that got me hooked on photography. no words to describe the colors. shot with a simple point and shoot.
More of the Kauai Na Pali shore from the boat
Hyatt, Kaanapali Beach, Maui. view from balcony
Fairmont Orchid Wailea, Maui.
on the Road to Hana
Hawaiian Monk seal hanging out on Kauai N Shore.
Napali coast hike. couldn't keep my lens or camera dry that day. 7d was put to the test
wade pools on Lanai around the corner from Four Seasons in background. kids in the foreground
looking back at Maui from Lanai as we head down to shipwreck beach
hiking the Na Pali coast
Oheo Gulch, Hana, Maui
Waimea Canyon Kauai
fantasy island falls, kauai. aerial somewhere in post above. rainbow changes as time passes
Shipwreck Beach, Lanai, Hawaii
