We often hear that the rich pay too little tax, and the poor pay too much tax. This graph from the CBO should put paid to that particular meme.

Who says the bottom quentile pays too much?

Redistributing a nation's taxes is not theft.

It is the average tax rate not the marginal rate.

Make all the income, pay all the taxes.

    Simple concept.

So lets pay income tax rates based on the % of income we make. Let's include SNAP, UE benefits, SSDI, SS, MEDICAID in the income calculation.

Shouldnt an argument over who is under or overtaxed include all relevant taxes, not just federal/income taxes?
