    good read and op-ed

and one I believe to be accurate

    from the article:

The apparently flawed law is doing what its designers intended. It’s blowing up the private health insurance market — which was already a morass of bureaucratic and regulatory argle-bargle and inefficiency — and driving the country, inexorably, toward a single-payer socialist/fascist healthcare system one unConstitutional “regulatory” change at a time (at least 14 of them so far).

Central planning progressives, by word and deed, have long expressed their desire for a single-payer redistributive healthcare system. Obamacare has essentially accomplished that, while preserving the insurance companies as “middle men.” Insurance companies bought into the scheme because, rather than having to battle over customers and depend upon individuals to pay their premiums, they preferred the idea of a captive consumer pool and premium payments guaranteed by the Federal Treasury.

One by one, Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius’ regulatory tweaks and President Barack Obama’s exemptions are removing payers from the system. They’ve created a regulatory jumble that has forced insurers to drop millions of policies that people were happy with in order to lump them into a one-size-fits-all box.

While I agree that progressives long for a single payer system, Obama nor his henchmen are smart enough to mess up Obamacare this badly. His signature legislation has thrown a dark cloud over his presidency as yet another generation of Americans (Millenials) are vaccinated against the scourges of liberalism, which always punishes the people. The "dependent on government crowd" remain too ignorant to pay attention or care and they will support whoever promises more freebies, but the middle class has had their asses kicked by the regime and the youngsters have been used and abused by a flat economy due to Obama policies and a bait and switch health care scam.

I believe the Obama regime is fundamentally dishonest and Obama's ego does not allow him to accept advice from private sector experts. He's gotten away with everything as he is liberal, articulate, liberal, slick, liberal, clean, liberal and black. Those types are not vetted by the adoring media. President Pinochio is an appropriate nickname.

You could refilm Citizen Kane with Bill just having him utter "Obamacare" instead of "Rosebud."

Not sure how "smart" they are but many have predicted this after reviewing the ACA.

    Intended or accidental??

When democrats lose control of the Senate and Pubs gain even greater House advantage in 2014 mid terms, me thinks they will claim accidental. Who knows? I just think these $hitbums are given far too much credit for intelligence. All of us have known professors and others who were academically gifted but didn't have enough sense to get out of the rain. Bottom line...present regime are all academics.

We have yet to see the full horrible impact from this terrible law. Watch how many places close their doors after January 1. Watch how many downsize.

Obama-scam/extortion/tax - is nothing more than a lie... passed off as something good... for the dumb, lazy freeloader people, that's only good for the tax collector and the federal government.
