Bush left office in 2009. He was the last drug addict president.
No, leadership won't bring it to the floor without a rider to reinsert the Obamacare language. The House hasn't voted on a clean CR yet, and all indications are that it would pass if they did.
so Barry is such a sweet boy and never did drugs? lol right..
fred you're a funny man, yet scary
That's what I'm talking about. Harry does that all the time.
Difference between the state controlled media in a communist country and the MSM collaboration with the "regime"?
Libbies, care to explain the difference?
Without using Fox news or Rush in your answer.
There is no difference.
I don't doubt for a second much of the media has an agenda. That would include MSNBC, CBS, Fox News, and Rush himself.
it's just you guys whining. it's what you do when you lose.
You'd be surprised. I spent about 7 weeks in Hanoi 3 years ago. I was paid by the Vietnamese government. I preached free mkt economics & was never censored. You can't do that here.
• A study released by the Society of Actuaries predicts that costs will shoot up an average of 32 percent by 2017 for insurers serving the individual health care market.
• Economists, business owners, and employees all report that Obamacare is shrinking the number of full-time jobs as they are being replaced by less stable, lower-paying part-time jobs.
• A Quinnipiac University poll shows two-thirds of self-identified Democrats expect the law will either hurt them or have
VN has paid attention to China, Korea etc. They have learned that if you want to feed the folks, you better create an atmosphere for economic growth.
Just go back last week and see the difference in the way the media treated Ted Cruz's filibuster versus how they fawned over Wendy Davis's.
Of course it looks biased when one views it from the far right or left
When Rush Limbaugh is all they have to respond with, they have lost the argument.
Btw, STILL waiting (almost five years now), to hear anything from the LMSM about Kenneth Gladney.
Have the libbies here signed up with their precious Obamacare yet?
If we had lost with fair media treatment and an informed electorate, we'd tip our caps and move on ..... but we had neither.
The mainstream media aren't journalists; they are publicists for Obama and the liberal agenda.
And liberals like Shab cannot argue otherwise. They would prefer to attack the messenger.
That's why they hate Fox News and Limbaugh. They cannot control those outlets.
Unfortunately, the ignorant and selfish left wingers are educated on the consumption of bumper sticker reading points.
Both bought and paid for by Obama and the dems sadly. Media members getting federal jobs and electorate getting free ride, free food, free health care and free phones. The moocher class only has to vote the right way to keep it all.
Big difference--'conservative' media champions itself as such. They tell you straight up they're conservative, and their perspective is coming from 'the right'. e.g.--Rush, Hannity, Beck, on down the line...
The neo-libby MSM tries to sell their spin as if it were 'objective', neutral, non-partisan, etc. That's what makes it repulsive.
Does that mean Fox is part of the repulsive "neo-libby MSM" because their slogan is "Fair and Balanced? Or is it meant to be understood ironically?
^^^sure, throw them in there. I'd file it under 'reciprocity', but I won't try to carve out some special exception.
You probably find Fox as 'repugnant' as most conservatives find the MSM, for the very same reason--they lay claim to the middle ground, all the while harboring their own political bent--and letting their bent guide their agenda (while purporting to be 'objective'). I suppose it applies to fox as well as the rest.
But who else from the right besides Fox can you say that of?
...and Fox, was actually founded as a counter balance to the unanamously leftist MSM--so it's kind of adverstised out of teh box as being right of center, even if they claimed to be dead center.
ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, HLN, Time, Newsweek, NYT, on down the line inherited a legacy of objectivity, which slowly and steadily gave way--veering left at first...then slowly turning hard left...until the whole damn flow of traffic was headed due Left--and no one hardly realzied it, because they were all headed Left--and so to them, it's 'straight'.
...enter Rush Limbaugh, et. al...
