I know they aren't as mean to drug addicts like him as he was before he became one.

You are so far gone into an alternate reality devoid of facts where everything is twisted to match your set-in-stone opinions that anything that deviates looks biased to you.

You are exactly like a Scientologist being presented with information about Christianity. It sounds biased to you because it does not line up with your beliefs.

Fred - I expected you to take a cheap shot. The media even admits its bias so you are the one detached from reality and please tell me you did not actually attend Florida.

It is amazing. They outright lie for this president. Heck, they even tried to outright frame George Zimmerman as a racist!

Never have I seen such a pack of agenda-driven cheerleaders as the liberal media in this country.

Whenever Obama doesn't get his way, he just calls up the heads of the three main networks who have their spouses/family members working for the Obama administration, and he tells them what he wants them to tell the public, and then the lemming listeners just fall for it.

Right. How did those unskewed polls work out for you in 2012?

Reality has a known liberal bias.

Eh, I would think that if the media were really trying to make the Republicans look bad and prove that it was their fault, more of them would have pointed out that the Senate bill would pass the House right now if it was brought to a vote.

The only reason the Senate bill hasn't already passed is because it doesn't have the support of the majority of the House GOP Conference. It does have the support of a majority of the whole House, but under the floor rules traditionally used by GOP leadership that doesn't matter and it won't be brought to a vote.

Until the phrase "Hastert Rule," which is the actual sole reason for the shutdown, features prominently in every article about the shutdown, Republican whining about "why is the media blaming us" rings hollow. The media is laying less blame at the feet of Republicans than they legitimately could.

Actually I was just watching CNN while folding laundry and watched a Republican Congressman talking about compromises that have been put forth, etc, and every time he'd start explaining the compromise the CNN anchor would interrupt him with some snide comment. She asked about the exchanges, he said leave them open but allow people to opt out just like Obama let big business do, then she said well what's the point, then he tried to explain and she interrupted him mid-explanation with an almost accusation that he and the Republicans don't want to insure pre-existing conditions, etc. I mean he was really trying to explain things and she was just rude and didn't even care, even laughing at the end of the interview.

Yes I'm sure both sides are guilty of this, but is there any wonder why there's this perception that the media really doesn't care about anything but what their particular agenda is for the day?

It only needs 17 Republican votes to pass the House if brought for an up or down vote.

    http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/09/30/house-clean-continuing-resolution_n_4014229.html

The Deputy Whip has acknowledged that Boehner could pass a clean CR "if he wanted to," and even Republicans who oppose a clean CR have said that "I think there's enough people in the Republican Party who are willing to do that. And I think that's what you're going to see."

There are some on Fox who do this too, however, Fox is really only one channel against many. Megan McCallum(I think that's her) and Bill Hemmer both do a pretty good job of not interrupting.

NPR surprisingly does a good job of not interrupting more Conservative guests, however, I notice that at times their points are ignored by the host and opposing view and often not acknowledged.

Didn't the House vote on the Senate bill? And what about the Senate... did the even vote on The House bills, that's right, plural bills?

We all know the deceit from Obama and his lapdog Harry's obstinate obstructionism.

Your liberal politicians and the ilk are all perfect liars.
