Was on the field pregame, shoes got wet and I've never been so cold, during the games in my life.

Darrell Woulard got caught from behind, we settle for a FG.

I was with the Hall of Fame Bowl rep on the way home and spent the whole trip trying to talk him into an "if win" deal on the fsu game, but they wouldn't budge. He had the bid in his pocket! Of course we beat the 'noles, end up 6-6 and home for Christmas.

Those were hard times, but still great to be a Gator!!!

Sadly I too remember the game. Double sadly, I remember more about that game than this years opener. I have reached that stage where long term memory > short term memory. Natiel had an incredible game the week before inspite if dealing with shoulder issues. I believe he was limited that game.

Listened to the game in the back yard while watching my two year old play. The radio was sitting on the top of the slide connected to his swing set. How about that for long term memory? By the way who did we play in this years opener?

You are correct. And our streak over Vanderbilt is #4. If you only count streaks where the games are played every year, ours are #1 and #2.

I recall a few years back when four of the top five streaks involved Kentucky and Vanderbilt (on the losing side).

    Nice!

Our RA's room was on the opposite side of the floor, so we got away with murder...among other things.

Our room location was also good for sneaking female visitors in without them being noticed...shorter walk of shame.
