In other words, 1/3 of their team was on the injury reserve when they limped into the playoffs. They would rally as a team under great leadership and win the Superbowl and defy the odds.

My point is, injuries happen to every team, every year. It's about how you overcome adversity, manage your roster, put your players in position to win, make neccessary adjustments and lead your team to victory. And there are many other examples of teams overcoming injuries over the years from the NFL to NCAA.

I'm not saying we should be undefeated right now and I know we all continue to discuss this subject, but we damn sure shouldn't have lost to teams the way we have. Not only that, but 3 of the teams we have lost to have also had a plethora of injuries and we were beaten by not one, but TWO freshman quarterbacks. Two teams were filled with mostly 3 stars on top of their injuries. If you're going to use the injury excuse for one of the biggest failed seasons in gator football history, fine. But then you have to give that to the other teams we have lost to as well. It's not a one way street.

The infamous injury excuse is not the reason for our main struggles, it's lack of leadership and motivation of our players. The worst thing possible has hit this team, the players have quit on the coaches. That falls on coaching, that falls on Muschamp. The injuries should not be the scapegoat for this season or the evident failures of this staff over the last 3 seasons.

Their best player? Starting backfield? Three starters on the line?

Injuries exposed how void of offensive talent we are. People on this board have already pointed out that Hunter Joyer is the only offensive player from the 2011 class playing right now. Everyone else has either transferred or is injured. That's a very big deal. Meyer's last and Muschamp's first classes have provided little in the way of offense.

Brilliant! All Muschamp had to do was call up replacements from his 8-man Practice squad. Better yet, he could look on the Southeastern Conference waiver wire and take his pick from hundreds of guys who already played four of five years of college ball plus hundreds more who have already played a season or more at the next level.

    YOU AM A GENIUS!:jeez:

Like I said, it's not a direct comparison, it's more of an example of how a team can rally through adversity. And your point is a waiver pickup in the NFL easily replaces a starter? lol no.

It falls on the HC to make adjustments and we haven't seen that WM is capable of doing that. We've seen a guy panic by pulling red shirts and throwing defensive players on offense and vice versa, make mistakes with depth chart, not trust his coaching staff to do their parts, etc. The dude tries to be so in control that he's out of the control. Lol @ your cute little meltdown, though. You're adorable.

With 85 ships you should have enough depth.

But we had ships left over without full classes plus the purge
of players that most cheered at the time.

You are still trying to use an NFL team led by Aaron Rodgers to justify your point. You have posted some silly things here lately but this takes the cake.

You notice how no one on this thread supports your point? That should tell you something.

^^^^ THIS. Can’t we please stop. WM is not going anywhere or it would have happened after Vandy. They also have Arron Rogers, just like Tom Brady wins without guys as well.

Actually that's another example. When Tom Brady went down for the Pats and Matt Cassel took over that season, they rallied together under a GREAT coach and the backup QB lead them to the playoffs.

Its not. Its really not. Stop trying to use some of the best players and coaches in the world to knock our program.

No one is happy with the current situation, but what you are doing is really reaching.
