In other words, 1/3 of their team was on the injury reserve when they limped into the playoffs. They would rally as a team under great leadership and win the Superbowl and defy the odds. My point is, injuries happen to every team, every year. It's about how you overcome adversity, manage your roster, put your players in position to win, make neccessary adjustments and lead your team to victory. And there are many other examples of teams overcoming injuries over the years from the NFL to NCAA. I'm not saying we should be undefeated right now and I know we all continue to discuss this subject, but we damn sure shouldn't have lost to teams the way we have. Not only that, but 3 of the teams we have lost to have also had a plethora of injuries and we were beaten by not one, but TWO freshman quarterbacks. Two teams were filled with mostly 3 stars on top of their injuries. If you're going to use the injury excuse for one of the biggest failed seasons in gator football history, fine. But then you have to give that to the other teams we have lost to as well. It's not a one way street. The infamous injury excuse is not the reason for our main struggles, it's lack of leadership and motivation of our players. The worst thing possible has hit this team, the players have quit on the coaches. That falls on coaching, that falls on Muschamp. The injuries should not be the scapegoat for this season or the evident failures of this staff over the last 3 seasons.
