That's what life's all about right there AKA, your son looks ecstatic to be out with his dad. Awesome memories!

Awesome pics, hoops! Absolutely critical to get the next generation loving it like we do.

Meanwhile, I've been breaking in my new cast net....

Nice. Broke the necks to bleed em! All you need now is some cornmeal and tartar sauce.

Lol...bro, you ever had canned mullet? It'll make you slap your neighbors grandma. It'll make you happier than a fat boy holding a buttered biscuit.

Or, fry em up like 7_5 said till the yellow fat starts cooking out...wow.

Caught 22 more this afternoon. Gonna hit em again tomorrow afternoon.

Interesting story today. Was about 60-70 yds north of my boat (upwind) wading with a few on the stringer. Worked my way back to the boat to find an 8ft bay lizard parked about 20 yards off the bow downwind in a couple feet of water. I know he smelled those mullet and was looking for a fish dinner. I'm sure glad he didn't get between me and the boat.

I took a couple pics...will post one tomorrow after I get them up on photobucket.

Alright finally snuck away from work. Came to Marathon yesterday with the guys and weve speared 5 grouper, 5 nice hogfish and 55 lobster.

Will hit it again in the am then take the catch to Sharkeys pub for them to cook out game meal.

We did another limit of bugs before lunch and watched GA/LSU and UF/UK while someone else cooked for us!

    Great weekend trip.

Absolutely no one on the waters around 7 mile this time of year.

Running with the Bulls....N. FL style :)

    <iframe src="https://www.facebook.com/video/embed?video_id=524336504314873" frameborder="0" height="480" width="640"></iframe>

This vid was shot last week. First time using my GoPro; so make sure you click the HD link beside the volume control when watching.

I'm not sure the length or weight of the fish. Guessing +35lbs and nearly 40"
    We caught 4 that day.

We are going after some more of them this weekend if the wind lays down.

mullet are everywhere, bait is all over the beaches. had a BIG snook take my sons topwater plug in Estero Bay on Sunday and used the nearby mangroves to make short work of the light spinning tackle we had him on. he was feeding on 12" + mullet and he took out 30 lb braid locked down pretty tight. never saw him but the explosion when he inhaled the plug nearly scared my son into dropping the pole. only 10 but now he knows what it feels like to be humbled
