The country club universities and the real reason college costs so much

    Keep in mind the thread was on the arms war in education expenses and my comments were that it also is played out at lower levels.

    SAT scores likely have decreased a little, as some of these schools in smaller markets have had to relax their standards a tad. And it has become more difficult for the pricier private schools to fill their spots... Jax is not Atlanta. We don't have numbers. And enrollment at the schools I'm thinking of at both primary JK-6th and secondary 7th-12th have been hurt some.

    As far as liberals on the board, you would likely be correct.
