Partisan politics is a zero sum game where one vote can be the difference between having all the power and sitting on the outside. It's no longer a pursuit of representative idealism so the goal of achieving moral agnosticism for the long term greater good has gone the way of the horse and buggy. It's all about tomorrow's news cycle and re-election in the short run, and imposing one sides moral beliefs in the long run.

Hell, the President himself threw his own debt commission under the bus BEFORE their report was even published to get ahead of the news cycle because of the media outlet backlash from the left that he feared.

I'd say both parties are corrupt. And both parties have dirtbags, sleazeballs and $hit bums. I would say the Pubs do a better job of booting out the "rif raf". That is likely due to media finger pointing. It is the pubs who speak about family values and personal responsibility while dems are arguing for gay marriage to goats. And I agree with the media when they jump someone's ass who does not play to the same standards that they preach.

Now if we could just get the media to actually do their jobs rather than take sides.

You are so worried about Barry being caught up in this. If there is nothing to hide why take the 5th? HMMMM.

no one's saying that no one in govt has done anything wrong. it's just that Issa's constant attempts to find someone on the White House have obviously failed miserably.

They have not failed miserably. Lets look at several scandals:

Fast and Furious- Leads to AG

Benghazi- Leads to State Dept (where in the world was Carmen SanDiego er Obama)

    AP phone taps/email taps- Hmmm

    Rosen/Fox News- Hmmm

IRS- When it plays out, we will know where it leads

Just like in the recent Trayvon Martin case...the MSM and pundits jump on Zimmerman and follow the narrative of the "rent a riot" types and got burned. Media protecting the Obama administration on the corruption and scandals will likely be burned when everything plays out.

Obama may not be linked directly, but he is the CEO of our government. His lack of accountability and general aloofness to anything "greasy" makes him the fall guy.

Sorry, I still work. I do not follow Issa's committee. Educate me...what has his committee investigated recently? Are the investigations complete? Who will publish the report?

then maybe you shouldn't be posting on a thread about Issa's committee if you don't have a clue what it does.

I mean, do you even know who Darrell Issa is?

Absolutely I do. He is a CA congressman who has the balz to call out Obama's band of hooligans for their wanton disregard for anything resembling ethical behavior...after all, they were trained in Chicago...it is how they roll. (shame on him for doing the media's job)
