I'm not questioning distance. I don't get the logic behind your comment. Can't choose between 1a and 1b so I'll go with 3. Not to mention Pruitt left ufs.

Thomas sounds like a player and would be nice, but no sense worrying about something you're not gonna get.

IDK about Carter not making an impact against some opponents, but his highlights look good and his athleticism is through the roof. Brandon Powell (4.44), is the only guy currently in our class with a better combine 40 time than Carter (4.60). He also has a 4.32 shuttle, 40" vertical, and a 41.5' power throw (range is 16.7-44.0 for DEs) On top of being 6'5".

He's a freak athlete. As long as he wants to compete, we can coach that up.

^^^ People can say what they want about Muschamp's inability to "develop players", but that's just not true defensively. We've had a top-10 defense every year he's been here, and that's even more impressive when you take into account how pathetic the offense has performed.

I haven't seen Carter on film, and it's perplexing that UGA fans are bashing that kid by basically labeling him as soft, but if he's got the athleticism you're saying he has, they'll turn him into a baller.

    Completely agree.

My guess is that the UGA fans trashing Carter are really nervous they won't get him.

Hmmm......I can't think of anyone who was so torn between his two favorite schools, that they said the hell with it I'll go to school # 3.

In this case last visit is huge. If it doesn't work out for us, hopefully the georgia fans talking him down are spot on.

Impressed that Will managed to get to Norcross in spite of the tepid weather and incompetent response. Two inches of snow? I've been driving around in eight to 12 inches for two weeks.

CJ Spiller favored Florida and FSU for the entire recruiting process - by all accounts 50/50 - and ended up going to Clemson on NSD. Maybe they won him over late, but it sure seemed like a compromise at the time. Many of these recruits have 3-4 year relationships with these coaches. Its understandable that some of the nicer, more humble recruits might feel bad about letting down a coach.

I think you underestimate Muschamp's ability to spy defensive talent in high school. Whether Grier is great is a big question, because playing QB in high school and playing QB in college, and particularly in the SEC are two utterly different things.

My guess is that there will be at least 3 additional players added by signing day. So, you go sticking your forks, and the rest of us will wait until we actually know what will happen (roughly Feb 9).

I think of Tunsil, Montravius Adams, Elijah Daniel as guys that surprised me last year.

Strange, why the disappointment already with this class? IF we close strong this class has the potential to be something. Yeah, if we wiff next Wednesday it's probably only going to be a good class. But it could turn out to be great.

Michael Carvell of the AJC predicted Carter to Florida earlier today. It may be nothing, but according to Zach A., he is the media member that covers Carter the most. Still hard to imagine with UGA having the last visit.
