Mom says she favors GA for son. He still has official visits left with FSU and Georgia so our coaches have their work cut out for them.

Following up with the post above I read somegood info inthe article.

"For Lorenzo, there is one school with which he has made the best connection.

"I’d say Florida. I had the best relationship with the Georgia staff, but yeah, they are gone now,” Lorenzo laughed, "so I’d say Florida. I always spent time with the Florida and Georgia staffs. I went to Georgia all the time, then Florida was one of my favorites early so I just spent so much time with those schools. Florida is always here and every time they come they bring like four coaches to see me.”

He then went on to talk about slowly building a relationship with Jeremy Pruitt, but to me it sure seems like it now comes down to who he is more comfortable with. It was enough for Holley to flip from Penn state when the staff changed. So I'd like to think that we are in a fairly good position for Carter

The biggest comment that stuck out to me is the worst and that's distance for momma. Gonna take a herculean effort to get him from uga, imo. I'd put our chances at 20%.

I hear you. Hard to tell, I think, though.

She also said she'd be okay with him going to Univ of Hawaii if that's what was best for him.

Never really expected to get Carter, but it's going to be so live if we do!

Nice comments about us. We're certainly in the mix. But it feels a little like he's saying we did really well, and he likes us, but it will come down to distance and family- my opinion.

Well, I read that article, and two things popped out at me: (1) it seems like he comes from a really decent family; I suspect, as a result, that he's a young man of high character, and thus even more desirable as a Gator; and (2) I think we have as good a chance as anyone to get him. Though his mom prefers him to remain close, her main piece of advice to him was to go with where he has the best feel, and where he feels a connection. And that place, my friends, is Florida. So if he takes her advice to heart, he's coming here. If he thinks more in terms of placating her, then he chooses Georgia.

Here's hoping he does what's best for himself (which, ultimately, is what his mom wants him to do) - which means he'd come here.

I wouldn't be surprised if he can't decide between UF/uga and ends up at fsu, or even LSU.

    Check out these comments:

Huh? Can't decide between my two favorite schools so I'll go elsewhere? That'd be very smart.......

Also I could care less about the comments. Sound like haters to me.

Against BTW this past year (which was on TV) he didn't look too good the few plays I saw. I don't think he'll make much of an impact wherever he winds up. Too bad we couldn't get Chad Thomas. Knowing our luck he'll switch to half ass u.

geographically fsu about the same as gville and it's clear fsu been recruiting him hard. It happens.
