It is a shame this is a noon game.
If this game was at night Miami's HFA would be even greater.
Either way, as I said on another thread, if Miami gets the breaks they win. If UF gets the breaks, UF could blow Miami out.
The team that makes the breaks wins, it is that close.
I expect the Gators to win the line of scrimmage and wear down the Canes D. We should win it with that as well as greater depth.
I think the betting line was listening to Kirk Herbstreit predict that Toledo would flat beat the Gators.
The idiot is true to form again this year.
The conventional wisdom persists that the Gators can't play offense. I don't agree.
vegas is usually spot on. i dont know how some people are predicting 31-10 blowouts in our favor.
Surprised, thought it would be closer to 6-7. Doesn't really matter tho, I would take a 2 pt win and move on.
I'm usually pessimistic, but the simple fact is the Gators have better players than UM, particularly on defense. It's another elite Gator defense, and Miami won't be able to move the ball consistently. The sharps will move in late and bet heavily on the Gators. The line has already migrated to minus 3 at the Wynn, the only casino currently taking action.
Wynn has UF at -3. It'll probably be higher by game time as everyone figures out that UF is a bad az team looking to make a mark.
In your opinion, is the Toledo defense better or worse than Miami's?
One notch better
Lets just a win!
Bet the under, bet it hard- until Vegas figures out that Florida under Boom is a sit on the lead and run the clock out team take advantage and make some money.
If your point is to play the comparative score game and say we won't score 24 points on Miami because their defense is superior to Toledo's, you won't win that battle. Last year, the Gators scored 23 against Jacksonville State, 37 versus FSU and 44 against South Carolina. In your opinion, was the Jacksonville State defense better or worse than Florida State's #1 ranked defense last season?
Georgia is -4 over USCe.
i don't think toledo's defense is better than miami
Canes defense is faster then Toledo's!
The coaches will adjust the gameplan to the opponent at hand. We have the edge at the lines of scrimmage -- 10 point win for the Gators.
Mack Brown will eat them for lunch. UF 35 - Miami 20
I think we win by 2....Td's
Precisely what Ive done.
I am 4-0 on under for our games dating back to BGSU last year.
