Using the government to benefit private corporations is different from capitalism. Let government provide public goods, let private businesses provide private goods. Private businesses providing public goods wastes money and resources.

The same could be said about Hussein lining the pockets of his campaign donors under the guise of investing in green energy companies. That gave me an impressive return on investment of my tax money.

I have no major problem with a power company charging for a big project ahead of time. But if they don't do the project, then they need to give the money back.

Really?? Not me, not when they have a monopoly on the service they provide, what if the project fails? Why should that be on the consumer and not them? Is the consumer going to profit from the project? Why does the power company get to spread the risk to all of us but keep the profits for themselves?

Because a Pub legislature said so. The law that permits the power company to bill customers ahead of time for the project granted them the power to keep the ratepayer funds when the project was canceled. What is sort of disgusting here is that the Levy project wasn't expected to be ever completed but customers have been billed 1.5 billion dollars at last count.

These same customers have been billed for the repairs and shutdown of the Crystal River plant. That total is expect to be more than 4 billion dollars.

This is not a dem thing or a pub thing-it's a corrupt thing. It starts from the top with the philosophy of Government is God and we the people are to serve it. It has flowed downhill to state and local government regardless of party affiliation. libs and Conservatives should condemn it for what it is and place the blame where it should be.

Normally I'd agree that it's not a pub or dem thing but we've had a Pub majority and gov for almost 16 years now.

And that is the will of the voters, not the parties themselves. We get what we deserve.

Try this: Never vote for an incumbent. Ever.
