What an ugly finish for TAMU! UK deserved that one...a whole lot more than TAMU did anyway (I add parenthetically, Aggies definitely deserve to be unranked right now).
I agree usually Cal has the kids on his page about now, if they are just slow or really really thick remains to be seen
Forget Kentucky.... Kennedy is doing a horrendous with his team. Yes, I know of the suspensions, but tonite they were full strength and looked entirely inept.
I didn't watch the game, but before everyone jumps on the "UK = Bad Hoops" bandwagon, remember, it's this way every year. They are always much better in the 2nd half of the SEC schedule. It will be interesting to see if TAMU is done in the conference race or if they have the talent to get back into it when everyone is playing again.
In this year's version I see less development than in past years. There doesn't seem to be any real umph to this team. There not a bad team but neither do they show any signs of being top level. Lots of time for that to change however no one really jumped out at me as being the one to carry the load.
I agree with your assessment and I hope you are correct but Cal has a strong track record of molding/shaping & motivating as his kids go through the season, especially the kids who view UK as a 1 year stop on the way to the SHOW and realize they audition every game.
