Kudos to bob. Down 2-4, winning the last 4 games. Big time effort for him and a huge win for the team. Doubles is the key for this team to make the round of 16.

Bob was unflappable this evening. He remained calm and in control. His opponent Minc, was so smooth throughout the match. Minc had all the answers until we got to winning time. At that point, Bob van Overbeek proved to be the tougher combatant. I am very proud of Bob this evening, even more so on senior weekend! This win over 8th ranked Kentucky may be enough to get us into the top 16, and host an NCAA regional.

Great job Bob. I sure hope we get to host a regional.

This is exactly the kind of match the team (and BVO) have last so many times over the last 3 years. Huge to turn it around and get the win

Hard to believe, but the men could actually finish 2nd in the league, if they win tomorrow and Tennessee, ole miss and South Carolina lose. A win should get us a top 4 seed regardless, as They hold tiebreakers over several teams.

The other side of that though is that with a loss, they could very realistically be seeded 9th or 10th(!) in the SEC tournament. There is about as much parity in SEC men's tennis this year as I've ever seen in any sport.

Needless to say the Vandy match tomorrow has huge SEC and NCAA tournament (top 16 seed/host) implications.
