Threatening people with duels can't be a good way to make a squad.

Actually if Tebow did that he'd get almost everyone on his bandwagon. Hoge would be beside himself praising the kid's will to win and courage. And no one, repeat no one, would dump on TT any longer.

ESPN would run that Broncos/ Steelers game non-stop- with everyone gushing over TT's performance.
Jax would not only pick him up but give him a starting job.

    Manigordo has found the ticket!

Edit: And his jersey would be the #1 seller again. This would be a gold mine.

Trent Dilfer threw 113 TDs vs 129 Ints. I would submit he was hardly a star in the NFL. How do those of you who regurgitate What you have heard on ESPN explain Tim taking over a 1-4 team and leading them to the playoffs & beating a team some predicted to be Super Bowl bound?

That is even more miraculous if as you say, he can't read defenses. Do you think college teams run static defenses?

Is this the year TT's name and number go up besides the Gator greats? How about the LSU game on a Saturday night. What a site, makes the hair on my neck stand up thinking about it..

I know it's beneath him, but I hope he just goes out and plays, somehow. Arena, CFL -- life is what it is. He can always be a broadcaster, but he only has X number of years left to be in peak condition with his skills intact.

Maybe he does this and lightning strikes and we gets back into the NFL via the back door, like a few of the arena guys.

Just go play somewhere, somehow -- it's a game. Play it and laugh off the inevitable abuse.

I think most of us would be happy to tune in to see him playing whatever it is, vs. the alternative of nothing.

I agree that Tebow should give the CFL or arena football a shot if he can't get a sniff from the NFL and he wants to keep playing. Both leagues are much more of a pass happy version of football than the already pass happy NFL. If he has truly improved his passing game it would be a good place to show it off and put in tape for NFL managers to review.

I just read the Yahoo sports article and came here to post the very same thing you did enviroGator. I agree completely that he should give the CFL a shot as and use it as an audition for an NFL team.

Why would the CFL or Arena league be beneath him?

Because tebow graduated 3 years to early to be appreciated in the league.

He isn't in the Ring of Honor, has to be 5 years removed, but he is up with the other Heisman winners in the south end zone.

Come to think of it, the media never made a big deal about Ahmad Rashad playing all those years with the Vikings.

You might be on to something. o_O

I am just confused how if he plays qb it is a "circus" but yet he would get interest if he would've switched positions to FB or TE? I mean, how is that not a "circus" as well. Is there a condition to the "circus" and who the heck started calling it a "circus" besides the media which repeated the word so much that everybody uses it when talking about TT. I refuse to believe TT is worse than somebody like Jeff Tuel.

I think the difference is that the QB is the expected leader of the team. No one really cares if your FB is sucking it up and the fans call for the FB backup.

But if the leader of the team is under fire it causes almost a self fulfilling prophecy - the team will suck even worse.

But then it really doesn't matter if you have Tebow on the sideline or not, if the QB is sucking it up the fans are going to be calling for his head anyway.
