This Caldwell guy is great at telling us what he's NOT going to do. When the hell is he going to do anything?

Bet the Monster Trucks sell more tickets than the Jags
When you cover up empty sections it looks like a problem selling out.

You are 100% wrong. Shad Kahn is kicking in over 20 million dollars of his own money and the rest will come from a 6% add on bed tax that hotels will collect, not us taxpayers.

Jacksonville will have the largest scoreboards in the world when completed.

Too many uninformed posters think Kahn is leaving Jacksonville for another city. If that were the case, then why would a smart businessman put over 20 million dollars of his own money in a project of this magnitude? Also, he'd have to pay multi-millions of dollars to break the contract he signed when he bought the team.

True and I forgot to say they are putting a swimming pool in one of the end zones. I guess this is to get more people to the games and once they're at the game they don't have to watch the game being played on the field...they can swim instead and look up at the world's largest scoreboard. It will be a new way for some families to entertain their kids I guess.

So, Jax goes for the 1st pick so they can take another Blaine Gabbert? That makes a lot of sense.

This comment doesn't make much sense. Because Bridgewater and Gabbert share so much in common by default as they are both QBs? Because Gabbert was also the very first pick? Because drafting that high automatically will get you a Gabbert?

no, caldwell comes off as an Ahole but he did a good job in this draft. its hard to overcome when you have had awful drafts since 08. and to everyone who wants to laugh about the jags new score board , don't come here for FL/GA then if you think its funny. here in jax it is exciting that these new renovations are happening. im far short of an intense jag fan but these improvements are awesome for the cocktail party.

I have banned myself from Jag games already and their scoring machine.

Wonder how the generations have been able to watch the cocktail party with those old scorebards.

Get used to people laughing when the plan is to lose and lose often.

Why does the St. Johns River flow north. The Jags suck

A "bed tax" of 40 million given to shad to build a big scoreboard is paid by taxpayers since the tax could be used for other stuff really needed by the city. Why does the city think a big scoreboard will get fans to come to the games?

He doesn't own the stadium, its not being given to him. I think a lot of that is in hopes of keeping the WLOCP. Also Jax will try to spice up the Gator Bowl a bit with some better teams. Khan is going to get rid of the shipyards and try to put some kind of nightlife in downtown Jax...it's dreadful.
Of course you mislead everyone with the 100% thing.
