Freeman won 7 games last year. Once again we see how yards are
More important than wins to some.
In a contract year he was O for three with the worst completion percent in the Nfl.
Thanks to the Jags the Bucs arent the lowest scoring team.

LA didnt support winners. Dont believe they are fired up to get a loser.

Yep Freeman was fired yet still better than the Jag qbs.

Tebow is someone I like to watch. He won the Heisman the year lost the most games.

If only he was a loser who threw for lots of yards, he would still be playing...

He doesn't fit with the Jags, as far as their future plans, but he might work for the Bucs, at least this year. I like the Bucs too, but I don't care for Schiano. This might be his final year, he's losing control of the locker room, and he is looking for a rah-rah type of guy (at least according to this article).

If they aren't tanking this year in order to get a high draft pick, which I seriously doubt considering how much money they have thrown at free agents, Tebow might fit in nicely. He's better then Glennon and might provide veteran leadership in the locker room.

The Jags have the worst O in the Nfl. Maybe they need to change or no one can do well there.

Amassing draft picks is a good plan. That's how the Patriots are always contenders. Draft well, sprinkle in a few high quality, low cost free agents, and you have yourself a damn good team to build on.

Somehow, I'm not surprised it took 34 posts for someone to bring this up. I still hold out some faith that Tim could be a pro QB, but he could not simply walk into a new situation with a new playbook, new o-lineman, new receivers and backs, etc. and do well.

Guys I have told you once and for all the Jags are a toilet bowl trash can full of digested beans.......I cannot pay my parents to give aways season tickets and box, anyone who pays for that miserable excuse of a franchise is literally flushing money away. GoodRittens and baughhumbuck to the Jags.

There is simply no indication of that from the organization. The deal with the city pays them well but has an enormous buyout, there is currently no stadium in LA nor approved plans to build one and there is the history of LA not supporting and thus losing two franchises already. As for attendance, a dozen other NFL teams had lower attendance last year including both of the other two in Florida. So other than mediot speculation, I simply see no rational basis to think the franchise will be moving anywhere, let alone to LA.

Can someone explain to me why the Bucs think they have to LEAVE Tampa to make money, but the Rays think they have to move TO Tampa to make money?

One of life's mysteries, I suppose.

The Jags are awful offal. They need to make the switch and sign Tebow today.

Tebow needs to take the job. Today. But only if he gets a commitment from the organization to retool the playbook around his strengths. He's not ever gonna be the prototypical NFL quarterback. He's Bronco Nagurski all over again. Run into the line. Jump pass. Run left. Run right. Bring in THE HEAVY PACKAGE. Don't worry about injuries, just do it.

60 million in stadium upgrades next year alone. Top 20 in attendance (despite media reports)... He's not leaving.

Assuming there is any truth to this, two things come to mind:

    1) This is probably just a way for Jags ownership to squash constant Tebow talk by saying "hey we took a look and he just wasn't for us".

    2) No way other Jags players would accept or respect Tebow coming right in and taking the starting job. The guy is just not respected in the league, as evident by the 2012 most overrated players survey where 34% of 180 nfl players voted Tebow the most overrated player. Yes he's a leader, but I just can't see them rallying around him after the media has basically turned him into a laughing stock.

That said, I'd love to see him get a real shot in a read option system built around his strengths, just don't see it happening.

Who has more playoff wins. Tebow or Henne, Gabbert, and Freeman combined.

Not sure myself but going with Tebow.

Tim throws a great deep ball and the Giant
O does just that. He cant be any worse than what they now have.
Waiting on one person next year isnt much of a plan.

The Browns pick high, so what.
