Sad but true.
Freeman had the lowest completion average in the Nfl. At least
you would never doubt the effort from Tim.
Honestly, if they signed Tebow and he won a game or two it would ruin their entire play at getting the top pick and Bridgewater. No way do they risk that. Gabbert is their insurance policy.
If somebody has a website and post a rumor it has to be true !
Freeman threw for 4000 yds and 27 TDs last year.
This. Josh Freeman will be a good QB in this league. He already has. Get him into a stable situation and he will perform.
NESN is reputable. It's the New England Sports Network, which is the main regional sports channel in the area and carries most of the Red Sox games. They have good sources within the Patriots, Red Sox, Celtics and Bruins.
That doesn't automatically mean this is true, but NESN is a reputable sports news outlet.
Nesn is just rebroadcasting this same dude. Read the text and you'll see
I would not want to see Tim playing for that crap team. Its a lose-lose proposition!
Seems to me that Freeman was the unstable one
Why don't the bucs sign tebow?? Their qbs are as bad as Jacksonville
You know what, I agree. I was hoping the Jags would do the right thing, but as bad as it's been for him the last season and a half, it would be a worse thing for him to go to the jags.
What the hell could Tebow possibly do on an utterly crap team when he didn't get preseason camp or any time to learn the playbook, become familiar with the players, etc etc? This is an obvious move to court popularity with the fans they have been busy crapping on for the last several years and who have had enough of this franchise. Its too little, too late.
If I was Tebow, I'd hold out for a real NFL team..oh wait...
As opposed to his other alternatives? He'd be stupid not to do it, if offered. I'm all for it.
The Jags only interest right now is LA. They have not done anything to help themselves since Kahn has taken over. Getting rid of their best OL is a perfect example. Kahn is a good businessman. He knows a bigger market will bring him bigger rewards.
I won't say never to anything, but I don't see the Jags going to LA anytime soon. Not with their longterm stadium deal.
They're still going to be terrible. Wins/losses is what puts butts in seats, not moving to LA. If the Jags were winning, we would be there. Hell, they've had a better attendance record than both the Bucs and Phins in the last few years. Win some games, give the fans hope, seats will fill. Move to LA, and you have to start all over. You have to compete with the other very popular pro teams. (49ers, Chargers, Raiders) ; teams that have been established for numerous decades. I can tell you this, even though the raiders suck, they have tons of fans. Butwhatdoiknow? Lol
I hope they don't leave. I've been a fan since they opened the gates. (One time season ticket holder) The good old days, when Mark Brunell was the man. And Boselli, Freddie T.... Coach Coughlin.
The awesome Buccaneers may tie them in this.
