He should go to the CFL if he wants to make living playing football.

If he goes up there and does well, he'll get another shot in the NFL.

If he fails in the CFL then he can get on with his life.

The field is wider. He can't make an NFL out pattern throw now. No way he could make one in Canada. Not to mention its predominantly a passing league. He'd have a harder time in Canada than the NFL. Same with Arena. Nothing about the AFL or the CFL lends themselves towards his skill set. He's done at QB. I wish he'd swallow his pride and switch positions. Peter King reported if he did so there are teams that are interested.

Exactly. And we've seen all those successful strong-armed, quick decision making, passing QBs from the Canadian and Arena League pour into the NFL year after year. Oh wait...

I never said they were good enough to make it in the NFL. Just said Tebows skill set doesnt lend itself to either league. Especially the AFL where running is non existent. In the past a Warren Moon or a Kurt Warner has emerged out of the lesser leagues but thats rare. Any QB in Canada Or the AFL are there for a reason. However if you think for one second Tebow has the passing skills to play Arena football you are either delusional or have never watched Arena football.

I love Tebow. I'd love him to be on a team. Anywhere. But let's just take Arena football for example. His throwing motion is not short enough. He doesn't have a quick release. He hold on to the ball too long. He hasn't shown that he can consistently fit the ball into tight windows. What makes him successful in the NFL is he could buy time with his feet. He was also a threat to Ron and defenses had to respect that and account for it. In the AFL he would be a sitting duck with inferior blocking and no room or time to run

Let's face it. God put Tim Tebow on this Earth to make Urban Meyer look good.
