Rays just beat the Yankees 4-0, 3 in a row at NY! Of course you would think the Yankee won as ESPN just had a big love fest for the Yankee players. No mention at all of the winners, the Rays!

As a Rays fan from day one, nothing is sweeter than sweeping the Yanks on our way to a possible wild card spot.

It must be nice to be Cleveland and play the Astros, the White Sox, and the Twins, three of the very worst teams in the MLB, to end the season......

Hey Indians, Rays are 9-2 against the Rangers, O's, and Yankees. Know what thats called? Its called EARNING your way into the playoffs. Oh, and it would also be nice if the angels could play for a little pride and take some from texas.

What the heck with unbalanced schedules this year:angry:

Another thing. The wild card game is a terrible idea. 1 game to decide 162? Come on.

Yeah, this is true. Either make it a 3-game series or go back to 1 wildcard.

Look at it this year. if it holds up it will be Indians vs Rays. Does anyone really think the Indians are the better team? Rays have had to go through division rivals and the rangers in the last month to get here, and have basically had to win them all because cleveland is laughing their way through 2 weeks of the worst teams in the MLB.

There are just too many things that can happen in a winner take all game to make that the deciding factor on a team getting into the playoffs.

another thing to gripe about.....the Astros. Thanks MLB for giving the AL west foes 18 games against a annual 100 game loser.

Gave that game away tonight. Fuld should never see the field again. I swear he has pictures of Maddon and a farm animal.

Clevelands late season tour of the worst teams in baseball is really paying off.

Whoever made this schedule should be shot.

Cleveland is 36-52 against teams over .500 and something like 54-18 against teams under. Basically the schoolyard bully of the MLB

That is not a team that deserves to be in the playoffs.

Hell of a 1st inning. What happens if the Rays win, Texas wins, and Cleveland loses?

Rays visits Cleveland and then loser visits Texas. Rays picked to have 2 shots rather than be the team that hosts the 2nd game and gets only 1 shot.

Looks like that's not going to happen though. Tampa is going to get in or going to have to play Texas in a play in pending outcome of that game.

Did they?!? Well shit, they got Price going on the mound too which I like because if they get past the Rangers (which seems to be the rays downfall every post season) then they can throw Cobb at the Indians.
