So we have absolutely nothing going on offense, so much so that Pease (or Will) is about to lose a job over it. Yet, after a little trickeration in the first half, we shut er down after we hit 14 points. It was almost like Pease called a Boise or a Fedora style gameplan in the first half, then went all Muschampian in the second half. Why did we not take more chances in the second half on offense?

And if you say "we had the lead and wanted to rest on our solid D", then why oh why is Muschamp more willing to take high risks with the D? Many times, the USCe RBs gashed us when we were all-out blitzing, esp on the 58 yd run from the back of their own end zone.

So we suck on offense, but won't take gambles, but instead we take high risks with the players on D that are supposed to be our strength? Makes no sense.

It's in Muschamp's DNA. This is his team.

That's who you should take risks with. You don't risk a big play with bad players but instead with your best unit, which is what they did

No, if I know my D can hold USCe to 2-3 yds a rush on their own 10, why do I call an all out blitz and let them run for 58 yards?

I actually liked the game plan tonight considering our injuries and limitations with Skyler. It was the 4th Qt that I thought we should have made some adjustments, SC did.

Considering those "risks" cost us 7 points on a 4th down and a 50 yard run tonight, and the first half disaster that was the Georgia game, we shouldn't be taking risks with them either.

I've never seen so many big plays off of ugly blown defensive calls before Muschamp got here. And it's not just getting beat by other teams with athletes it's ugly "no one bothered to cover them because 9 people were blitzing" or "we thought we were doing something smart but we only outsmarted ourselves" nonsense.

He did this crap at Texas and LSU too.

I didn't get it either. Was really happy with the playcalling in the first half. They failed to adjust when the run game was going no where.

Better off staying in base defensive coverages.

I don't think a 14 point lead is insurmountable for many "better" teams in CFB. You cannot sit on a 14 point lead for three quarters. Look at Baylor vs TT or baring the miracle AU vs UGA. In my opinion that is playing to lose
