Congrats to our men....what a great team!
If we beat Ole Miss
Still gotta beat ole miss. Or we wont be .
You probably just hexed our team for the Ole Miss game.
Hehehe, yeah, a little premature. We have to beat Ole Miss.
Hopefully by 40.
Yeah, let's not count those chickens yet.
Even if we beat Ole Miss, if Syracuse manages to win at Duke, they might stay #1.
Also, being #1 is pretty meaningless right now. Having a top Kenpom, RPI, etc. is probably more important.
If Syracuse wins at Duke Saturday, the BC loss might not change the rankings.
Agree that being #1 (as opposed to #2) is meaningless. However I disagree about Syracuse staying #1 if we win, that was a terrible loss for them.
If Syracuse wins at Cameron they'll stay 1-still have one less loss than we do in a "basketball conference" and both teams have some close escapes.
Sure, but beating Duke at Duke would be a really, really good win for them.
That part is true... I still want them to win and end Duke's home streak. Let the pollsters decide that mess. In my unbiased heart Gators are always #1 though.
All I want is a win for us Saturday. The rest can take care of itself.
Saw where Hill is doubtful for Ole Miss.. It's going to be tough.
i don't understand why people think we will move up because of Cuse's one loss. Sure it was a bad loss but that was their first loss. Polls usually aren't about who is playing better, their about resume. If we win at ole miss, and Cuse can beat Duke, then Cuse will stay at number 1. If Cuse happens to lose at Duke than Yes we should be number one.
Same here, I just want our guys to keep it going.
Although I think their one loss is worse than our two, a win at duke probably keeps them in front.
I don't think it will be as tough as Auburn honestly. We got a major wake up call tonight after our emotional road wins against UT and UK. I expect to see a focused Gator group come out strong against Miss. Not....whatever that was we called a basketball team in the first half tonight.
I'll revisit this thread on Monday. The OP is entirely too presumptive.
