    2012 Auburn Team

Many people clamored and clamored that they didn't have any talent......while others said no the coaches are not coaching and the talent is degrading and not being utilized.

Meanwhile a year later with new coaching they are undefeated and beating the #7 team in the country.

Same here. But my patience is growing rather thin with some of the stubbornness. Taking Taylor out today after the TD was rather irksome.

Maybe he is trying to point out that a 3-3 Ole Miss team is beating a team that beat us pretty good last week...just like a 1-5 NC team almost beat a Miami team that beat us also.

Some keep using injuries as an excuse. Young talent not ready to play, blah, blah, blah.

I was countering those excuses with ole miss who has the same issues but somehow scores 10 against lsu in 1st half alone and with 6 starters on defense out shuts out Lsu in the 1st half.

Only UF suffers from injuries huh

I think Muschamp is a great football coach, and an elite coach at that......but as a D-coord, not a head coach. Some have it and some don't, it just is what it is.

Ok then... a 4-3 Tennessee team who lost to a 4-3 UF team, beat USC, so fire Spurrier?

Anyone who thinks our injuries are not significant is crazy. I don't care what Muschamp "says" in public. In private he knows he is in trouble. You can't say, we lost Easley we're screwed cause the guy behind him isn't as good.

So part of me says, "no wonder we are this bad."
The other part says, "how can we be THIS bad!?"

Understand your analogy but every week is different . The mindset of a team, the Venue is different. Not an excuse maker but injuries are a key . Look at UGA too.

Got to give champ another year at least.

That LSU game is freaking me out, I have to be honest. How can they shut down LSU when we didn't? I think the entire team is struggling and has since Easley went down. Granted, he is a stud, but this team has no depth.

So, kids, ask yourself honestly is it coaching or depth? We have no upper class depth at all, which reflects what Muschamp inherited and brought in with a short recruiting period. He is a great recruiter and his defenses play well when they have players. Do you REALLY think bringing in a new staff is a smart move?

It's NOT. He came into a really bad situation -- a coach who knew he was leaving and didn't recruit. Actually, I think he did recruit, but he recruited players to OSU.

The team is really down and fragile right now. We need some leadership. Maybe they will find it in the off week. We have a chance to beat the dogs. Not a great one but a chance
