Especially after the 4th of July just came around...just sad.

Just a very sad accounting of the state of the committee(s) in charge of looking for MIA servicemen - inept, out of touch, corrupt were some of the words used. As an example it lists Washington paying North Korea hundreds of thousands for the "excavations" when it turned out they were using cadaver skeletons from schools and "placing them" in positions the US forces would've been in. In the European fields, agents go on wild goose chases it seems and just rack up miles and expenses versus getting anything solid.

It's one thing to know your father, husband etc is dead but you need some kind of closure. Missing is just a big question mark.

The lack of effort toward finding our MIAs is really a black mark on our country. Another example of the corruption and waste in our govt.
