Sterling gets last laugh

    Here is where I find things peculiar.

    The Sterling Trust (and therefore his wife with the leagues approval) is trying to sell the team without his approval based on him being mentally incapacitated. Per a neurologist (or two depending on the source) he does not have appropriate use of his mental faculties to control the team.

    If that is indeed the case. If it is true that he is trending toward Alzheimers/mental debilitation, then why the hell are we castigating the guy for making racist remarks? Anyone who has had a grandparent go through this sort of thing knows they get downright loopy and will say inappropriate things. Really makes you wonder.

    Sure, but those stricken by Alzheimer's and its derivatives generally don't have a history of discriminatory practices, and the concomitant legal proceedings to prove it.

    But that wasn't a problem to the NBA then so why should it be now?
