The stats support what you see if you're watching the games closely. Nobody can move the ball against UF on the ground or in the air past the first half, or in most cases, the first quarter. Our offense is an aberration. They manage to keep the ball away from the other team running 70% of the time but averaging less than four yards a carry.

This is a new brand of college football. Bama plays it to some degree, bus only slightly better and with a lot more offensive talent. Our coaches might just be geniuses.

And the 12.2 points per game is misleading. 7 on a pick 6 and 7 on a 3 yard drive by UM after a fumble.

D is only giving up 10 per game, and 16% of opp. first downs have been by flag.

The kicking has been ugly... and a game in Red Stick, it can bite us for sure.

We're going to find out Saturday if this statement is true. We have a great defense, but this will probably be the biggest test of the season.

It's funny, 400 yds a game used to be a damn solid offense. Nowadays with the growth of spread and up tempo offenses, 400 yds puts you near the bottom of offensive teams.

If we can get past LSU this weekend the East is going to be in reach. Yeah, I know we can lose to LSU and still win the East but...

And that is why offensive statistics need to be heavily qualified by pace, scoring efficiency, defense and special teams productivity, etc. I would take a 400-yard offense in our pace against a 500-yard offense in most of the tempo or spread units.

So LSU gives up almost as many yards as we gain, and we give up less than half the number of yards they gain.

Game in low 20's-I like our chances.
Mid 20's or higher-we are going to be hard pressed to win. Fact is, we are just not built for scoring many points....yet. We've hit 30 2x in 5 games, and both right on the number.

Need to win turnover margin for sure and hit 3+ big plays if we can't keep the game in the mud ...
