I bet neither Spurrier or Dabo know what planet Les Miles is from.

Well Steve apparently knows that Pluto is no longer a planet, and his foil does not. For us science nerds it makes a lot of sense since Pluto would make 9 planets and now there are only 8.

I had yesterday off and was lucky enough to have caught that interview and it was hilarious. Spurrier has always made me laugh (like he was Bill Burr or Louis C.K.) and he was his usual self. That part of the interview was particularly great, his demeanor directly after that question to Saban was pure gold. Great picture.
Spurrier is always gonna be the greatest interview ever, GOAT!!! Nobody comes close to him in entertainment value.

You are exactly right! Several years ago most aeronautical scientists took Pluto off the listing of Planets. Don't know if I go along with that or not but obviously SOS does.

For so long, we were all taught that Pluto was the 9th planet in the solar system.
In 2006, Pluto was reclassified as a dwarf planet. Pluto was just too small to be considered a planet. In fact, Pluto is actually smaller than the earth's moon.

Here are some interesting facts about Pluto:

That's right- Dabo started all this when he held a press conference just to say that the real Carolina was UNC and the real USC was in California.
Spurrier, being Spurrier, wasn't going to let that one go, and SOS is in Dabo's head.

But it's also just a stunt to keep interest up and fan the flames.

I don't get Dabo's point with him being from Mars and Spurrier from Pluto.

Was he trying to say Spurrier is way out there?

SOS is more worried these days about a state championship than anything else, pretty sad.

Spurrier bleeds for an SEC title. I think there's just more emphasis on beating Clemson in SC relative to other schools with in-state rivals. If memory serves, he started Dylan Thompson when an injured Shaw could have played two years ago at Clemson. I highly doubt he does that if SC is in contention and it's an SEC game coming up. I think Shaw played thru worse injuries.
