So where are Utah, TCU and WV? Oh that's right, they joined a real conference and don't matter any more. Isn't it funny when they have to play real teams week in and week out that they can't hang. I would love to see FSU join the SEC or the Big 12.

The same would happen to Boise State too. We all said that TCU and Utah wouldn't have the depth to compete in a real conference every week, and we were all right. The Big 12 isn't even a good conference right now, and TCU is still struggling.

They have each played ONE conf. opponent thus far so I find it considerably too early to agree that they're not competing due to a tougher conference. That doesn't mean it won't actually happen but already?

You do know this is not their first year in these conferences right?

It's a little early to be beating one's chest about this. Of course there will be a transition.

FSU has demonstrated that they can beat Miami, another ACC team. Your point?

What do you mean by transition? They play about the same number of teams each year regardless of conference. Are you saying that by playing a lot of different teams from a new conference that we don't really get to see the real Utah until they have played those same conference teams for several years?

And yet Utah was good enough to win two BCS bowl games.

(Yes, I already know the answer. Bama and Pitt didn't want to be there...)

Couldn't agree with more with you and Ace on this matter. Makes a bid difference when you play in a real conference.

Uh, not to blow your mind here but they played lower caliber teams week to week before.

I think the comment about "WEEK IN AND WEEK OUT" went right over your head. It's about the grind, not winning or losing one game. One game is a crap shoot. The results of playing good team after good team after good team shows the quality of a team.

With you on all of this, 'cept the ACC gets a little more credit than the MWC, WAC (good riddance), Sun Belt, MAC, etc. Besides, the SWAC play us. We get the chance to stop them every single year, and their strength of schedule usually isn't good enough to be able to sustain an additional loss to us.

    Go GATORS!

I guess it went over your head, but that is the entire point of the thread. They played lower caliber teams week to week before and look at them now. They are not in the NC game discussion (or even ranked) because they can't handle it.
