Hahaha!! God finally!! Someone said the words I was trying to say! Good post, tired of looking and there's a new thread, that's the same as another thread just different wording.

Herbie's man-crush on Urbie clouded his thinking. He made that pick with his heart, not his head.

yes, not sub par or a slam, we are a solid, middle of the road SEC team.

O is average, ST looked average- and hope they can turn it up a notch- we have used them and the D (NOTE- NOT MEDIOCRE...THEY ARE SOLID...PERIOD.) to edge our points on the board.

play calling- vanilla and rather mellow...

would like to see some long ball chances- work through eating the time clock offensive plays, and start seeing some points on the board flow more easily then over the past few years...

middle of the bell curve is better then the lower tail...
that said, I still plan my weekend around the schedule...
    go gators. call me out.

pull the sec east into a top to bottom order...west too...
where do you see us fall?
and I am not being crass- just see us as potential to go either direction on several key games...

Bama, Florida, UGA, USC thats my top 4.

If anyone else besides Bama is ahead of us, its UGA. 3rd in the SEC, even 4th isn't "middle of the road SEC team".

I'd put A&M over South Carolina.

Neither am I. I mean their best player is a DE. Nothing wrong with that but hard for a DE to win you a lot of games.

Our defense is top notch. That alone puts us in the top 3. USCe didn't look that good the other night and we'll see what UGA does tonight.

I was considering mid of SEC east (SC, GA, us could go many ways)- not overall...sorry, my bad...
    on that...
    overall in the SEC...
I don't know...Texas a&m peeks my curiosity (and on a sidenote- I miss old school texas, Nebraska, and Oklahoma games...anyway...moving on)
    Sans Mr. Football, meh...

Ga, SC, Bama, LSU are crapshoots in order (aside from Bama...damn.)...I think that leaves #4/5 potential overall...then again-
I would love to eat crow (and I am a vegetarian!)

Vandy seemed to have the poo flowing the right way last year...what is up there? Always like them...until our game...nice underdog to pull for...

KY sucks, face it- bball only.
Tenn needs a gut check, and Miss St fans die of heartbreak.

    Friendly remarks...
    :)

our defense is the best thing going.
we need an offence to match it...and have looked way to long to refind that ID.
    I miss Leak, personally...
    sigh, daydream...
    ooooppss...drooled on the keyboard!

Offense puts fans in the stands, but defense wins championships.

    agree...but points is points.
    ;)
    special teams saves your ass...

ps- runners? runners? sprinters fill the stands, but distance gets the points!
    yay for track runners! :)

How are people sold on Georgia right now and not USCe?!?

North Carolina is a decent team, and what I gathered was even without Ace Saunders, USCe has playmakers still on the outside, and good tight ends.... Who can catch... So they pass to their receivers, and TE's.

Mike Davis is a solid back, and their offensive line is the best I've ever seen at USCe I think. They might have questions on D, but does everyone really think they won't have those problems figured out by the time we play them?

Connor Shaw can run, Dylan Thompson can throw. I do not get this Georgia hype. I am sold on USCe, not Georgia one bit.

I'd put us 5th in SEC just ahead of LSU, 3rd in the East- our defense is equal to USCe's but they have a better offense that can actually attack a defense.
