Are we a team that lets someone like Toledo come in and call us soft before our home opener?

Or are we a team that makes someone pay for popping of with that that type of smack before coming into The Swamp?

Sure hope we're ready to show these guys what Florida football is all about....

I think we need to save being 'offended' by Toledo and just go out and do the talking with our game.

    This^^^^^

We need to go out and play a solid game on both sides of the ball and special teams. First game of the season is the first full speed, full contact, that's not Gator on Gator. Lots of excitement and nerves to get out of their systems.
And you never know what to expect from the other team, no recent film to watch, so they may try some new and different stuff they didn't do last year.

Our guys shouldn't be jawing a lot! A gesture or two towards the scoreboard should be suffice for Toledo!

It's Great to be a Florida Gator!

Why are we looking in every nook for "bulletin board material?"

What team is going to come to someone's town and say "we have no business being here."? It's not smack.

I dont know about our team...but our fanbase seems a bit soft under the skin.

Geez. What should the kid have said?

Once again, I think this Gator team will be pretty boring to watch. Effective, but not exciting.

Of course, we must recall that this head coach said about Saban's Alabama offense: "Why do they have to be so flashy?"

They still put very little on Driskel's plate for this game. When you don't ask you quarterback to do much, you don't have a chance to be exciting. But this is typical Muschamp. Vanilla almost to the point of being dangerous the week before playing a much stronger opponent. We beat FCS JSU 23-0 and Lafayette 27-20 last year. We followed with a road win against the Noles. We followed a 27-14 grinder against Bowling Green with a win in College Station.

The one that was in a fight with Bowling Green till the end of the game?

I saw a lot of positives in this game from both the offense and defense. Imo the one thing the offense really needs to do is improve the playcalling.

Talking about approach to the game and our strengths/weaknesses. Am I wrong there?

Actually, Valdez and Gideon have brought some extra weapons and toughness to our offense. There is no doubt we have the same type of team as last year.
