I'm talking in the 400-something section (419 I believe). Not only that, but 90% of our student seats are at the very top as well.

Is this a normal practice? Do we force opposing bands to sit up in the sunshine seats?

    That's horrible.

I got seats through UM alumni so I'm on the 50 20 rows up :)

I do not have my tickets in hand but I am told we are in the upper nosebleeds also. I hope it's not right next to the band because that might make it hard for Driskel to hear my audibles.

It's okay. There will be plenty of open seats they can move to after the first quarter.

I'm really tired of this. Foley needs to make note of which schools do this and return the favor on their return trips.

Miami knows they don't have any future matchups with the Gators, probably why they're doing this. Guaranteed if it was a matchup every 2 years they wouldn't be pulling this.

There was a post a couple of days ago from a guy who called the ticket office. He said the band was to be in the lower level. So, the info may be off.

I wonder if we could put our band in the upper deck of the Swamp? I kid; I kid!

Wow they really do have an inferiority complex. From forcing ticket buyers to purchase an entire season ticket package, to only allotting 500 of our 12,500 seats in the lower bowl, and now putting the band up in the upper deck. They are so terrified that we are going to take over their stadium. Wow. I've never seen anything like it.

I think this is normal for Miami. I think they put FSUs band up there dont they?

This dazzling post was sent via my Samsung Galaxy Tablet using jet packs custom built for Gator Country.

Miami does not respect us. This is why we should pull their ass off our schedule and never play them again.

I read where Foley has said that from here on out the game will be played at a neutral site(if at all) not home and home due to our seating at this weeks game

What "here on out"? They're not on the schedule and I don't care if we ever play them again. Screw them.

Call me crazy but UM's size and endowment is not growing at a rate that matches FIU's, which is already a significantly larger school with more resources, and I see a day when FIU supplants UM as the more dominant football program in South Florida. They've already got a nice on-campus football stadium - it's not very big but they designed it with room for expansion. UM will never have their own stadium. There's no room.

I could give a bunch of other reasons why FIU will eventually overtake UM but I'm already boring myself by even talking about either one of them. Who cares??

Why not? We don't need to fill their stadium for them every time we play them.

The band should figure out some kind of gag for the event.

Maybe some members of the band leave the stadium a bit early and go grab the canoe and bring it back to the stadium for a nice post game parade. We should be bringing it back for posterity anyway.

This is another reason why we don't play this $h!t-hole team every year. It's a cesspool organization.
