So now, does the 1 loss SEC (Bama, Aub, or Miz) go over an undefeated ACC or BIG 10? The SEC's strenght of schedule is much greater than OSU's and FSU's.

I think our worst nightmare just happened. A championship game between FSU and Ohio State & Urban Meyer.

Michigan State has the best defense Ohio State has played by a wide margin. There's no guarantee at all OSU wins that game.

If auby wins the seccg, might be enough to jump osu and their soft schedule. Stranger things have happened.

I am officially the worlds biggest Duke and Spartan fan.

Otherwise, I doubt a one loss team jumps an undefeated team this year.

Auburn will be #1 in the computers this week and solidly #1 if they beat Missouri.

So as long as they are 3 where OSU is 2, they'll jump them based on the computer score.

Spartans are far better than OSU, they have it in the bag.

Nope. The country was waiting for a Bama loss and they will rewrite the computer code to make sure no way an SEC team makes it if FSU and OSU win out.

OSU's schedule is absolutely pathetic. They don't deserve squat.

I'm disgusted at the prospect too.

    The silver lining . . . . . . . . . either FSU or OSU will suffer an agonizing defeat.

The human poll argument you will hear over and over again is this:

Should it be the two undefeated teams from weaker conferences or does a one loss SEC team (the beat team from the best conference) deserve the right, based on the 7 year streak to defend that streak?

Except that Auburn's schedule isn't that strong, either. How many ten win teams have Auburn played? One? Same as Ohio State and Florida State.

I would much rather have had Bama in the NC game than Aub because I think they have a better chance at beating F$U with all of their roster management, 5 star recruits and 10 extra coaches. But I guess we will just have to pin our hopes on Aub, Miz or OSU to beat F$U. All the F$U fans I know would much rather play anyone other than Bama.
