    No 1 - People who believe they are the only ones with "the real truth" come across as prideful and arrogant. Among Christian denominations alone, which one could be cited as having "the real truth"? The Catholics? The Calvinists? The Amish and Mennonites? Each have doctrines - or "truths" - that differ from the others.

    How else can the ideal of Christianity be reconciled with the reality of Man's inescapable propensity to sin? By pretending that one ceases to sin, upon becoming Christian?
