I guess tolerence is only given to those who support or practice homosexuality. Anyone whose opinion differs is shown no tolerence whatsoever -- instead they're silenced.

He calls Homosexuality a curse and then wonders why he isn't accepted? lol. Had he not been derogatory about it I think he should have been there.

The other interesting part of this is that he says he struggled with it after being molested. This is a very common psychological result of boys who are molested by men. Many assume that because they participated or might have even enjoyed making an adult they looked up to happy they must be gay, though many are straight. Many get past it themselves, or with therapy, or with a healthy relationship etc. This guy just happens to claim it's God.

what you don't get from a general perspective, is that its the belief that isn't being tolerated, not the person themself

that can't be said the other way around

An event to bring people together started by excluding someone. That a liberal for you. They're for free speech until they disapprove.

Perhaps to him it was a curse & that he was able to get out from under that curse flies in the face that he was born with it. Obviously that ruffled some feathers of those who agenda is different.

suggest the OP consider the singer's negative attitude towards gays to be the same as the negative attitude gays have against the singer.

OP insinuates the singer is a victim. When in fact---both the singer and gays are doing the same thing---intolerance towards those who have different opinion. looks like OP may suffer from the same thing

Homosexuality is and always will be deemed a sin by actual Christians. However, intolerance and the judging of another human being is also sin. If you are not a Christian and I assume that if reading the previous statements angered you then you probably don't live by either rule so it should surprise no one when sinners (which ironically are both sides though only the Christians own up to it) are intolerant of those which adhere to principals they don't accept. It's hard to have a foundation when your existence is built on nothing. There are hypocrites prevalent on both sides of the issue though I tend to give the ones with no foundation whatsoever a pass because they just don't know any better. Christians should know better.

The singer reportedly views homosexaulity as a curse--not homosexuals. Against whom is the singer supposedly being 'intolerant', that the same cannot be said of him?

This is true. However, does it not paint one side - a side that has preached tolerance for itself for the last decade - as a bit hypocritical?

So much for being the better man. Of course, since Gay Rights has officially become a political enterprise, this should come as no surprise.

So does one have to have a foundation in Christ to live morally? I ask and though I could be wrong because you seem ascribe the lack of a foundation in Christ as lack of any moral foundation at all, hence your claim of why Christians "should know better." What should they know better? That hypocrisy and/or intolerance is wrong?

A belief in christ is not a prerequisite in living morally

Dude. We can't have people out there saying that.

I mean, we just can't. The homosexual industry just doesn't snap on that.
