Were you listening to Jay Mohr the other day? Reminds me of his Babe Ruth schtick. Had me crying
FOr the record Michigan tests during the season and per a few articles, they test the entire team right before the Big 10 tourney because they want to catch anyone before the NCAA does. He passed that test without an issue so I think it is safe to say he didn't smoke during the season. Now did he during the offseason? Who knows but who cares.
Bakaduin, I'm with you.
"Who know, and who cares.
Pot should be required for everyone to use every day.
Like Endogenous Morphine, Endo-Cannabinoids are an absolutely vital part of human physiology. To think that Evil Governments make Cannabis an Illegal substance is quite simply beyond anyone's comprehension.
Maybe if he's lucky, he'll get drafted by the Nuggets.
No, but I'll be here all week. Try the veal. Don't forget to tip your waitress.
Let me be clear, Jay Mohr had me in tears. Your post reminded me that he mentioned hotdogs with Babe Ruth. I'd have to hear a couple minutes of your standup before I can give you those honors
Using marijuana is against the NCAA rules. If you want to be a part of a collegiate team, then you need to obey the rules. If you get caught doing something that you know full well will get you in trouble, then I have no sympathy for them.
If you want to discuss changing the rules, that is a different topic. It's a rule. It's not that hard to follow. There are plenty of people that would love to be a Division 1 athlete.
I don't think anyone disagrees with you. McGary has said the same thing, that it was his fault and he knew the consequences. He has done an admirable job of being honest when he could have just never mentioned it and left for the NBA and nobody would have known he tested positive. I do think it is extremely silly that you can fail a drug test for pot in October and it is a 3 game suspension but in the tournament it is banned for a year.
Agreed. I do think if its a rule, then it should be consistent. I wouldn't have a problem with it being a year anytime. I believe rules should be made to deter people from breaking them.
I was asked not too long ago to sign a petition in favor of medical marijuana. I just had to ask what was wrong with the regular kind. ;^)
