I've watched every Gator game this season, but I've not watched much other college basketball at all.

It would seem to me we drew a rather challenging bracket (especially 2 seed Kansas).

Those that watch alot of ball, are you happy with our bracket?

Which bracket overall looks the most challenging?

I'm satisfied with it. Feel like we got the easiest 8/9 second round matchup among the one seeds. Kansas is the best two, but I could easily see them going down early if Embiid doesn't come back. And we avoided Louisville and Michigan State as two very dangerous four seeds. As well as some of the better three point shooting teams (Iowa State, Creighton, Duke, Michigan)

Tough bracket. Pitt won't be a slam dunk in round 2. UCLA good enough to beat Arizona. Kansas/Syracuse are both tough. Glad Louisville is not the four in our bracket. I think they might just be toughest team in tourney. Wichita State will have their hands full with them.

While Arizona's bracket I would bet every cent I have UF went to the final four and have zero worries it's so pathetic...I'm still happy. We missed out on a tough eight seed(Pitt is a strong nine, but they also aren't getting more than 50 on us...we got that though it will be close like a lot of our games). Our four seed is UCLA, who while good, isn't elite like say...LOUISVILLE or MICHIGAN STATE..who are two of the other four seeds. Kansas, without Embiid is not a great team. They don't match up with us well either way. Press, 1-3-1, half court trap. Our defense would engulf their average guards. Patric has played Embiid...rewatch the game and you'll notice Embiid could do nothing vs Young(he did his damage only when Pat was sitting). So outside of Wiggins, no part of their team worries me. Average defense, and their offense can't handle our style of defense which has been shown a few times this year already.

    Dallas...let's go!

So was Colorado, ASU, and Oregon.

Arizona without Ashley is not a great team...actually they are nothing more than a 4-5 seed without him. Don't look to much into that. They have no depth and their offense has been crap outside of the two game span before Oregon beat them since Ashley went down.

You can't look ahead. Two years ago we were slotted lower than Mizzou, who we would play in the 2d round. Except they lost to Norfolk, who we stomped, and suddenly had a clear path to E8.
    Just win

Exactly. And for all the talk about tough brackets, an upset or two can turn make it look much easier, while a hot team can make it much harder. Just have to play the games.

I disagree...the west bracket is very easy..so was Wichita states last year. Easy for a great team that is...not for an average team.

UF earned and very much deserved a #1 seed and the #1 overall seed. For the most part I think UF got a pretty fair bracket. Not as easy as Arizona got in the west, but okay. My only real gripe is the location of the south finals (Memphis) for Kansas as a #2 vs the #1 in that region.

the lower half of the south bracket is BRUTAL.

two of those teams (Cuse and Kansas) were considered a possible 1 seed just a month ago.

then you have Ohio St., New Mexico, and Stanford......tough grouping

fortunately for us, we only have to beat one of those teams coming out of our grouping. I'm really happy with our 8/9 potential matchups (would prefer colorado). UCLA is playing well as of late but doesn't have the size or the overall athleticism to beat us.

The sweet 16 looks like a certainty, the elite 8 looks highly probable, and going into the bracket final we should be good to go against any of those teams (I'm thinking Syracuse).......you can't win the title coasting all the way through so we better be ready to step up at that point.

Arizona got the easiest bracket......Wichita St. got the toughest

I'm ok with it. Pitt is a pretty good 8 seed, but so are Oky St, UK, and Memphis, so all #1s get a decent potential first weekend foe. Our 4/5s are good with me, as it could be a lot worse than UCLA/VCU. Kansas is a good 2 seed, but 2 seeds are supposed to be good.

Now if I was Wichita State, I'd be drinking hard tonight. Potentially, they have to go through Kentucky and Louisville just to make the elite 8? Someone on the committee hates these guys. Sheesh.

I don't think there's an easier path. You're gonna have a few hard games, but I'd take ours over anyone's.

UCLA's the weakest 4, and we don't have to play both 'Cuse and Kansas, just one of them. And both of them are much less than what they were three weeks ago.

I don't think it could be an easier draw.

I think Pitt is a fair 9, but not scary, Colorado is the weakest 8, UCLA comes off a huge win, but still the weakest 4 imo. I don't think UCLA wants to see the Gators in their bracket, we seem to be their tourney kryptonite. The bottom half is tough, and very wide open. Playing only one of them, gives us a reasonable shot.
