I though he did a good job passing.

Would have preferred more passes for first downs and then when we were desperate not to pass 5 times in a row....which IMHO led to the interception.

1st and 10 at FLA 26 Skyler Mornhinweg pass incomplete to Ahmad Fulwood. 14 19
2nd and 10 at FLA 26 Skyler Mornhinweg pass complete to Kelvin Taylor for 15 yards to the Fla 41 for a 1ST down.
1st and 10 at FLA 41 Skyler Mornhinweg pass complete to Trey Burton for 4 yards to the Fla 45.
2nd and 6 at FLA 45 Skyler Mornhinweg pass complete to Quinton Dunbar for 7 yards to the SCaro 48 for a 1ST down.
1st and 10 at SCAR 48 Skyler Mornhinweg pass intercepted by Jimmy Legree at the SCaro 36, returned for 7 yards to the SCaro 43.

By not letting him pass more, the coaches put him in a position to be successful.

Yeah I liked Mornhinweg. Not a lot of zip on the ball, but very accurate, and besides the play at the end, threw to the right people

    I thought so, too.

So why wait until our last possession to throw when everyone knew in the stadium he'd be throwing? Coaching staff could have mixed it up more in the 3rd qt when USC D were anticipating all run

Alternately, why not start running with the variety of run plays that we used in the first quarter with two time outs?

I wasn't that impressed. They had him throw easy passes and we now know he is pocket passer and not a rollout passer. Mack made the play on that dump pass.

Haven't you heard the old coachspeak about putting players in position to be successful? They really did it for Skyler.

Not losing by 40 as this whole board predicted.

Instead of Burton in the Wildcat on 3rd and forever, with no chance of working, let SM throw a deep ball. It loosens up the D and just might work. If it gets picked, it's as good as a punt. Why not try it?

If the coaches think he's that bad, what was he doing out there? There are 5 or 6 other QBs on the squad. Are they all garbage?

When was the last time Florida had QB's who threw the game away late regardless of class? Every single one on the roster has done it this year.

This the thing other teams QB's do to seal the win for US in close games not the other way around.

I don't understand how they can try to hide a quarterback for almost 4 quarters. we have had freshman quarterbacks play against us and be successful. For crying out loud he has practiced for two years

If he had a good arm that pass to fulwood would have been on a line and complete. Skyler gave it his all and we did what we could with what we had. When I saw that pass I knew why he wasn't asked to throw that much.

It's not that he is that bad and in all actuality that has nothing to do with it. It's that they wanted to run and control it. When have they NEVER done that in the last two years? Show me. He made a mistake bringing us down the field in position to win.

NO ONE would have predicted a possible game winning drive.

We lost and everyone expected by 40. Since we actually played well and was in control for a while, people revert back to their blood thirsty ways and ignore everything they said pregame.

He's accurate, but there was a good reason why he wasn't throwing much. It kept us in the game.

Well the coaches could have played him like they had a little bit of respect for him, instead of none.
